Video game publisher Private Division and developer Roll7 have announced that the unique indie skateboarding platform game OlliOlli World will be released worldwide on February 8, 2022 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and is now available for pre-order. Players who pre-order the game will receive bonus digital cosmetic items, including a Bunnylord Head, Hero T-Shirt, Hero Skate Deck, Hero Tattoos, and Hero Arm Cast.
Aside from the pre-order details and official release date, Private Division and Roll7 have also revealed OlliOlli World Rad Edition which can be availed via digital pre-order. The said edition will include the following: OlliOlli World base game; the first story expansion “Void Riders” containing an entirely new biome, levels, characters, gameplay, and customization unlocks (to be released in Summer 2022; a second story expansion containing another entirely new biome, levels, characters, gameplay, and customization unlocks (to be released in Fall 2022); and a “Close Encounter Skate Deck” digital cosmetic item.
OlliOlli World is a game that mixes skateboarding and 2D platforming gameplay. The game is the third in Roll7’s OlliOlli skateboarding series, though it features a more colorful and vibrant look. Aside from the standard single player levels, OlliOllli World will feature two asynchronous multiplayer modes: Gnarvana League and Gnarvana Portal. Gnavarna League will pit players with similar skills to compete for the highest score. Meanwhile, Gnarvana Portal will let players generate original levels that can be shared with other players.
