Global technology center Xiaomi, together with World Vision Philippines, welcomed over 400 students from a school in Barangay Baseco, Manila with back-to-school kits as they returned to face-to-face classes. The kits contained school supplies such as crayons, pencils, and writing pads, among others as well as the latest Xiaomi products and gadgets including Xiaomi backpacks, pens, LCD writing tablets, and the recently launched RedmiBook 15 perfectly fitted for any school-related tasks.

The kit is intended to provide students with all the tools they might need to excel while, at the same time, allowing them to unleash their creativity and talents. Xiaomi Philippines Marketing Head Tomi Adrias explained, “The last two years have indeed been trying times for these students. It has always been the mission of Xiaomi to be a brand that supports young people’s aspirations by equipping them with the latest technology available.” The donation marks the second year Xiaomi Philippines has worked with World Vision and is part of the brand’s continued advocacy to champion the further development of education in the country through technology that will help enhance and harness Filipino students’ digital prowess.

MPL Philippines Bares Mechanics For Hall Of Legends Inductee Nominations

MPL Philippines officially announces the mechanics to nominate 10 legendary players of all time to be inducted into the inaugural MPL Philippines Hall of Legends. The program aims to commemorate MPL-PH athletes who have made considerable contributions to the league, as part of its 10th-season celebration. Votes from the community or fans, active athletes, coaches, team owners, talents, MOONTON Games, and media partners will make up the list of legendary players. Active or retired MPL-PH pro players from seasons 1 to 10 are eligible for the nominations, including those who are playing in the current season.

Fans have until October 7 to nominate and vote using Facebook or TikTok in the form of videos, art cards, images, or statuses, posted on their public profiles. To officially count as a vote, the entrant should tag the MPL-PH Facebook or TikTok page and include the mandatory hashtags #MPL10LEGENDS, #LAKASNA10TO, and #MPLPhilippines in the caption. “We thank our community for their contribution to the growth of the league.
