Maria, Joshua Garcia, Richard Yap, and Gabby Garcia, topped the Hottest Filipino Drama chart on Viu while the mystery family drama show “Senior High" starring Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri, Xyriel Manabat, Zaijian Jaranilla and other Kapamilya Gen Z artists is still the most watched series on iWantTFC.
Meanwhile, the Coco Martin starrer “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” dominates the rating charts in primetime TV with the average national TV ratings of 25.2% om October 9-13, 2023 covering urban and rural homes nationwide, based on Kantar Media, and consistently continues to strengthen its online viewership on YouTube via Kapamilya Online Live. Star Cinema’s “A Very Good Girl" starring Kathryn Bernardo and Dolly De Leon also achieved another milestone as it grossed more than Php100M in its third blockbuster week. After its successful Hollywood premiere, the film is still making waves in various local and international cinemas worldwide. Kapamilya artists Daniel Padilla, Janella Salvador, Belle Mariano, Maymay Entrata, Jayda, Angela Ken, BINI, BGYO, and Nameless Kids are now part of the global sensation in music gaming SuperStar Series with the launch of SuperStar Philippines last October 11, 2023. The mobile app, from US-based company Dalcomsoft in partnership with ABS-CBN Music, allows fans to play a rhythm game featuring the songs of their favorite Kapamilya artists like Daniel’s “Simpleng Tulad Mo", Belle’s “Sigurado", Maymay’s “Amakabogera", BGYO’s “Tumitigil ang Mundo" and BINI’s “Lagi".
Players can also claim rewards, collect and upgrade their card collection, and rise to the highest ranks as they master the game. They can likewise opt to use the wallpapers of their favorite stars. “SuperStar allows users to play their favorite tracks, experience the rhythm, and collect photo cards of artists. ABS-CBN Wins Best Media Company In 20th Gawad Tanglaw

ABS-CBN continues to receive the academic community’s approval as it won twelve awards including Best Media Company at the 20th Gawad Tanglaw. The country’s leading content provider, which continues to bring world-class Filipino stories on various platforms through different partnerships, was also honored with the Gawad Manuel L. Quezon University para sa Sining at Kultura ng Telebisyon.
In the entertainment category, “The Broken Marriage Vow” emerged as a big winner, clinching the Best Teleserye award and Best TV Actress award for Jodi Sta. Maria for her portrayal of Dr. Jill Ilustre. On the other hand, the Best TV Actor award went to Piolo Pascual for his performance in “Flower of Evil". Kapamilya shows “It’s Showtime” and “ASAP Natin ‘To” won as Best TV Variety Shows while Anne Curtis and Gary Valenciano were the recipients of the Gawad sa Sining at Kultura ng Paglilingkod sa Bayan. Vice Ganda was also awarded the Gawad Dr. Debbie Francisco para sa Sining at Kultura ng Pangmadlang Komunikasyon.
ABS-CBN’s news programs and journalists also bagged top honors including Best TV Newscast for “TV Patrol” and Best TV News Anchor for Henry Omaga-Diaz. Doris Bigonia and Alvin Elchico of "Gising Pilipinas", the early morning news and talk show of DWPM Radyo 630 and television counterpart Teleradyo Serbisyo, were hailed as Outstanding TeleRadyo Anchors, while ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel)’s “At the Moment (ATM)” triumphed as the Best Lifestyle Program. The Gawad Tanglaw, or Gawad Tagapuring mga Akademisyan ng Aninong Gumagalaw, which is composed of film critics, scholars, historians, and members of the academe, aims to recognize exemplary works in various media.

"ABS-CBN Ball 2023: Forever Grateful" Racks Up 685 Million Online Views

Kapamilyas continue to show their love for ABS-CBN as the “ABS-CBN Ball 2023: Forever Grateful", the biggest and most highly-anticipated showbiz event of the year, recorded a total of 685 million views across social media platforms as of October 10, 2023. After four years, fans got to see their favorite artists, loveteams, veteran actors and actresses as well as industry leaders and content partners gracing the red carpet again of the much-awaited Kapamilya event.
The star-studded ball was streamed live on ABS-CBN Entertainment's YouTube channel, Metro.style's YouTube channel, iWantTFC, and The Filipino Channel (TFC) and was aired on Metro Channel on SKYcable and Cignal. As part of ABS-CBN’s mission to continue serving the Filipino people, a portion of the funds that were raised during the event went to the ABS-CBN Foundation which includes beneficiaries of Sagip Kapamilya, Bantay Bata 163, Programa Genio, Bantay Kalikasan, and Integrated Area Development. ABS-CBN News Launches Three New Digital Offerings

ABS-CBN News recently launched three new digital contents offering news, useful information and entertainment in a bid to further expand the organization’s reach. "These digital offerings are in response to the public’s need for reliable and engaging stories and continue the Kapamilya news team’s mission of finding more ways to serve the Filipino wherever they may be," said ABS-CBN News Head Francis Toral. “They also aim to provide Filipinos with news they can use, help them understand current issues and events, and keep them up-to-date on hot and trending stories,” she added.
After its soft-launch last September 29, “SOS: Stars on Spotlight” premiered last October 7 with new episodes uploaded every Saturday at 4:00 pm on the ABS-CBN News YouTube channel (youtube.com/abscbnnews). The weekly recap of the week’s biggest and most talked-about showbiz and entertainment stories that aired on TV Patrol is headlined alternately by Ganiel Krishnan and MJ Felipe. A day after its YouTube run, the same episode will stream on the ABS-CBN News Facebook page (facebook.com/abscbnnews) also at 4:00 pm. The news team’s second offering, “Bistado M.O. (Modus Operandi)”, meanwhile, aims to not only revisit crime cases and scams covered by ABS-CBN’s metro and justice reporters, but also advise viewers on how to avoid being victimized.
