Independent record label Dreamify Records celebrated massive growth and success in 2023 driven by new artist signings, chart-topping releases, sold-out tours, and more. In just three short years since its founding in 2020, Dreamify has evolved into a thriving community and formidable indie label with a clear mission of elevating Filipino artists globally. Originally known as Dreamify Records or “drmfy”, the independent collective brings together creative talents from across the Philippines, committed to artist development and showcasing exceptional original works.
With an open door policy welcoming emerging and aspiring musicians alike, Dreamify has built an optimistic movement centered around music passion and empowerment of its diverse roster of artists including YNISH, Patrick Magada, NICHIMI, Paul Lagac, Chill Axe, polaris., 157, Zynfinity, mica yui, LYLEE, HALCYON NIGHTS, Neqxy, and Mr. Bloo. Kicking off an impressive year, Paul Lagac’s single “Flavor” marked Dreamify’s first release of 2023 and also scored a major commercial deal with a vape company in the Philippines. The label expanded its artist roster by signing promising acts like NICHIMI, mica yui, and LYLEE. NICHIMI’s debut album “Dilemma” drew over 100,000 streams, with standout tracks “Tanong=Sagot” and “Lie” resonating with fans. Patrick Magada also released the album “I Need a Change // I Need to Change" which brought in 30,000+ streams. Singles “You Don’t Deserve Me” and “I’m Happier” were highlights. Beyond albums, Dreamify had a breakout year for EPs and singles. Rising artist YNISH made waves globally with her “luv hack" EP, amassing over 500,000 streams of the buzzy title track. The label also scored viral hits with Flavor by Paul Lagac and polaris’ “Nagbabakasakali" which earned Dreamify its first Philippine Viral 50 placement, debuting at #36.

On the live front, Dreamify connected with fans through extensive touring and album/single release events. The “Road to Takeover Tour” spanned over 4 months across the Philippines. Hometown shows in Sorsogon for YNISH and Halcyon Nights created special, meaningful moments. Other tour stops ranged from Quezon City and Makati to Bulacan and beyond. Additionally, the label organized a mall tour called “Road to Take Over Mall Tour #SupportLokal” held last June 4th and 12th at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. The events successfully spotlighted over 50 musical artists, small businesses and brands by giving them a platform to showcase their talents and products to consumers. Dreamify also expanded through several key sponsorship deals over the past year. The label partnered internationally with EART Guitars, securing the guitar brand as Dreamify’s Official Guitar, as well as teaming up with audio company BQEYZ Headphones making effects brand M-vave as the label's Official In-Ear Monitors.

Locally, additional sponsorships included local musical cable supplier Kable Atbp., music accessories brand Plecturms Manila, and more. These impressive partnerships further elevate Dreamify’s profile and offer new opportunities for its talented artists. Capping an immense year, the November 11th “Takeover Onse Onse” concert gave Dreamify’s talented roster a chance to shine on stage in front of music lovers. This breakout year establishes Dreamify Records as a formidable indie label to watch heading into 2024 and beyond.
