Dexcon, a collective of all niche in the world of sports entertainment that’s dedicated to bringing the best in professional wrestling and fan experience to audiences around the globe, is celebrating modern Filipino professional wrestling's tenth year anniversary celebration with Dexcon: Dekada on May 25, 2024 for a Meet and Greet and Wrestle Bazaar at Collective Base B2 in Greenhills and May 26, 2024 for the Wrestling Show at Brawl Pit in Bulusan, Quezon City.
Continuing its commitment of delivering top-tier entertainment, the wrestling part of Dexcon: Dekada will be headlined by an International Dream Match featuring the Best Technical Wrestler of the Decade, Zack Sabre Jr. taking on “Mr. Philippine Wrestling” Jake De Leon. After facing Masahiro Takanashi and Chris Brookes at Dexcon: Wrestlestorm and retaining his MWF Pinoy Wrestling Championship against Rex Lawin, JDL will face his biggest test yet in the form of ZSJ. A former NJPW Television Champion and IWGP Tag Team Champion, Zack has wrestled across the world and has faced the best competition and for him, he will face the best that the Philippines has to offer and that would be none other than “Mr. Philippine Wrestling” himself. The event will also feature a marquee match up between Fabio Makisig and Jomar, two top students of the legendary Japanese pro wrestler Tajiri’s in the Philippines. The man formerly known as Jomar Liwanag looks to capture his first singles victory over Fabio Makisig. The two battled back in 2018 with Fabio Makisig getting the upper hand. Fabio, a former MWF Champion, will be looking to get back in the winning column after he lost to Jomar recently in a tag team match featuring their sensei.
Turn Zero Kill (TZK), Saint John Martin (SJM) and Ken Cifer, will defend the World Underground Wrestling (WUW) International Tag Team Championship against The Pinoy Bulldog and Zera. TZK had two successful title defences for the WUW International Tag Team Championship during Wrestlestorm and Kasaysayan 2024. But at Dexcon: Dekada, they will meet two familiar foes in Zera and the Pinoy Bulldog. The Pinoy Bulldog is a fixture not only to WUW PH but in the history of Philippine Pro Wrestling as he has wrestled in the 80s and 90s. Zera, on the other hand, looks to regain the WUW Tag Belts he lost back in December. But when the stakes are high, the duo of SJM and Ken Cifer always rise to the occasion. It’s a tag team battle that people should not miss! There will also be an International Tag Team match as Robin Sane and R O M E O will team up for the first time to take on Singapore’s top tag team of Dr. Gore and Da Butcherman, the duo known as “The Horrors”, which will be for the Singapore Pro Wrestling (SPW) Southeast Asian Tag Team Championships. While falling short against SETUP Thailand’s Shivam, Robin Sane made quite a statement at Dexcon: Wrestlestorm and is hungry for more international competition. R O M E O, on the other hand, made his triumphant in-ring return in Dexcon: Wrestlestorm. He and Robin Sane shall face Singapore’s deadliest Tag Teams in the form of “The Horrors" which are the current SPW Southeast Asian Tag Team Champions. This will be the first time the Philippine fans will see The Horrors together inside wrestling ring and it is assured to be ‘bloody brilliant’. For Dr. Gore and Da Butcherman, it is their return to Philippine soil in a long time and they are looking to make their trubitastic impact anew in the squared circle.
Dexcon: Dekada will also feature other Filipino pro wrestling talent in action including favorites “The God Killer” Dabid Ravena, Main Maxx, and Razael as well AFAM Steve and the hard hitting Rex Lawin plus other surprise guests set to appear during the show.
