LG Electronics Philippines (LGEPH) commemorated World Environment Day 2024 by launching its impactful ‘Life’s Good With Recycling’ campaign. The event, held at the LG Electronics Philippines office in collaboration with the Pasig City CENRO (Community, Environment and National Resources Office), saw a significant turnout of enthusiastic participants dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship. LGEPH Managing Director Nakhyun Seong emphasized the importance of World Environment Day as a global platform for raising awareness and driving action towards environmental conservation. As part of the ‘Life’s Good with Recycling’ campaign, which began on Earth Day, April 22, and concluded on June 5, individuals were encouraged to collect plastic waste. The waste collected was then processed and recycled through the Mobile Recovery Facility of Pasig CENRO. The campaign’s main objectives encompass Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Notably, the 1,622.55 kg of collected plastics will be utilized to redeem grocery items for LG’s maintenance and support staff. Moreover, the campaign aims to strengthen both LG and local government’s commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices within the Pasig community, all while enhancing awareness and implementing concrete actions. As a crucial aspect of this collaborative effort, LG has pledged to donate plastic waste to CENRO every quarter, fortifying its backing for local environmental endeavors.

The Philippines' longest-running pyromusical competition, the 11th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC), just wrapped up its spectacular finale at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) By the Bay. Each week, two countries battled it out, captivating audiences with a kaleidoscope of creative expression.

From the Netherlands' mesmerizingly choreographed displays to South Korea's explosive energy and Belgium's intricate storytelling elements, the competition offered something for everyone. Germany's technical mastery and synchronized effects left audiences in awe while Australia's elegant precision and the Philippines' long-standing pyrotechnic excellence solidified the event's world-class status. Immersive "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba" Exhibit To Take Place In PH Starting July 20, 2024

PULP Spaces+, Muse Communications Co. Ltd. (Muse Asia), ACO MEDIA, and Mediasphere Communications has set up an immersive "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Total Concentration Exhibition" that will allow fans and visitors to experience the Demon Slayer universe. The exhibit will highlight Tanjiro Kamado, the main character of the series, and the valiant fights of the Demon Slayer Corps to defend people against evil and hideous creatures.

In addition to recreating some of the anime's most memorable scenes for viewers to experience, the display includes exclusive material that is exactly the same as what is seen in Japan. Expect interactive exhibits, life-size recreations of significant scenes, and must-have national products. It will be held on July 20-October 20, 2024 at Gateway Mall 2 in Araneta City. Tickets for adults will cost Php700 during pre-sale which runs from now until June 30, 2024. Children from 4 to 12 years old can purchase tickets with a Php400 discount. Meanwhile, tickets will go on sale for early birds on July 1-19, 2024. Adult tickets will cost Php780 while kid tickets cost Php480. Following that, tickets for the general admission sale will go on sale starting on July 20, 2024 and cost Php880 for adults and Php550 for children. The Demon Slayer manga series, written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, ran from February 2016 to May 2020. Since then, it has been turned into an anime series spanning four seasons. In October 2020, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train was released as a follow-up film. The plot revolves around Tanjiro's quest to become a Demon Slayer following the murder of his family and the transformation of his younger sister Nezuko into a demon.
