De La Salle Lipa (DLSL) has affirmed a strong partnership with WAKASA Senior High School in Japan with the renewal of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This renewal, effective for three more years, reinforces a robust partnership that has flourished for seven years. The agreement was officially signed on July 12, 2024 in a ceremony documented and published in their Japanese daily newspaper. The renewed MOU promises continued cultural and educational exchange, highlighted by the anticipated visit of 59 students and 4 teachers from WAKASA to DLSL on March 2025. Coinciding with the MOU renewal was the prestigious 12th WAKASA International Science Forum held last July 12-13, 2024 and attended by 250 participants including representatives from the Philippines, Taiwan, Hawaii, WAKASA, and other schools in Japan. DLSL's delegation left an indelible mark on the forum and garnered acclaim for their exceptional presentations, eloquent communication skills during the Q&A sessions, and unwavering confidence. In a remarkable highlight, one of the DLSL participants was approached by a professor from a university in Hawaii and invited to present her project in the United States, underscoring the exceptional caliber of DLSL's student body.

July 16, 2024 marks another significant day for DLSL as representatives visit La Salle Hakodate in Japan.
