Aliw Broadcasting Corporation and Cignal TV Inc. have officially entered into a partnership that will bring an array of news, lifestyle, sports, and crowd-favorite DWIZ programs to Cignal and SatLite subscribers nationwide. The signing was held on July 12, 2024 at the Launchpad Building, Reliance cor. Sheridan St., Brgy. Highway Hills, Mandaluyong City. Representing Cignal TV during the signing were President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jane J. Basas, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) John L. Andal, First Vice President (FVP) and Head – Channels and Content Management Sienna G. Olaso, Chief Revenue Officer Gerard L. Milan, and Head of Regulatory and Industry Erwin V. Galang while eading Aliw Broadcasting Corporation on the signing were President Benjamin V. Ramos, Vice President for Business Development Dennis Antenor Jr., and Executive Vice President and General Manager Atty. McNeil Rante.
Aliw Channel 23 is now accessible to over 5.5 million Cignal subscribers nationwide, offering a unique blend of news, public affairs, entertainment, and sports content. Cignal TV Chief Revenue Officer Gerard L. Milan expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the benefits for Cignal and SatLite customers, saying, "Masayang masaya po kami ngayon sa pag-welcome sa ating partner, Aliw Channel 23. Mapapanood po ng lahat ng ating mga customers ng Cignal at SatLite ang unique na content ng Aliw Channel 23, ang style nila ng pagbabalita at public affairs, entertainment at may sports din para sa lahat nating mga kababayan.” He highlighted the longstanding relationship between the two companies, noting that Aliw Channel 23 has now found its rightful home on Cignal’s platform. “Actually, matagal na ring partner ang Aliw, nasa ibang channel lang siya nagsimula. Pero ngayon nasa tamang bahay na po ang Aliw Channel 23, sa Channel 23 na po siya mapapanood ng lahat nating mga customers," said Milan.
Aliw Broadcasting's Vice President for Business Development Dennis Antenor Jr. extended gratitude and shared his excitement about the nationwide reach of the channel, saying, “Maraming maraming salamat po sa pag-welcome sa Aliw Broadcasting Corporation sa Cignal TV. We are happy to announce that Aliw Channel 23 is now nationwide and can be watched by our fellow Filipinos – Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. And please welcome into your homes ang Aliw Channel 23 na ngayon ay bahagi na po ng family ng Cignal TV.” Antenor elaborated on the variety of content viewers can expect, saying, “Pwede n’yo pong ma-expect na lahat po ng aming mga contents – marami po kaming balita, may sports din. And of course, ang balita po mula umaga, tanghali hanggang gabi. Alam naman po natin na ang balita po ay tuloy-tuloy na nangyayari. Ang prime content po ng Aliw Broadcasting ay DWIZ. Alam naman po natin na ang DWIZ ay napapakinggan bilang news station, AM radio station. Ngayon, mapapanood na rin sa Aliw Channel 23. Aside from DWIZ, marami pa pong mga upcoming contents at programs ng Aliw Broadcasting Corporation ang magiging bahagi ng Aliw Channel 23. Abangan n’yo po ‘yan, lalong-lalo na po ngayong 2025."
With this partnership, Aliw Channel 23 is set to reach a broader audience, offering high-quality programming to viewers across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Antenor added, “Since we are going to broadcast over the Philippines ang consideration po ngayon ng Aliw Broadcasting Corporation ay mas marami ng mapapanood, so mas quality ang iyong mapapanood, mas exciting yung mga inihahanda namin. Hindi lang buong Metro Mega Manila, we’re now going to serve the Filipino people all over the Philippines – Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.” Aliw Broadcasting's Chairman and President D. Edgard A.
