BRAVE Combat Federation, the most global MMA (mixed martial arts) organization in the world, is set to kickstart the 2025 calendar on April 18, 2025 with BRAVE CF 93 in China, marking the organization’s return to the nation after a historic debut with BRAVE CF 84 last year. Held in association with leading regional promotion YFU, BRAVE CF 93 and YFU 83 will showcase the best MMA talent from China competing against top international fighters, with athletes from South Africa, Nepal, Tajikistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Iran, and Bulgaria expected to feature on the card. This truly global lineup highlights BRAVE CF’s commitment to providing Chinese athletes with an international platform while bringing the attention of the MMA world to China. The event will also put a spotlight on BRAVE CF’s Flyweight division, building on its momentum from 2024.

In 2024, BRAVE CF 84 marked BRAVE Combat Federation’s debut in China, making China the 33rd host nation globally and the 13th host nation in Asia. The event was a huge success and injected new life into the regional MMA scene in China. Now, as BRAVE CF returns with BRAVE CF 93, the stakes are higher as the organization kickstarts “The Year Of The BRAVE” with the event. BRAVE CF is currently tied as the most-hosted MMA organization in Asia, having held events in 13 nations and by returning to China, the organization also renews its strategic vision for the Asian market. Last year, in addition to hosting successful events in Asia, BRAVE CF also showcased the iconic India vs. Pakistan rivalry, setting new benchmarks for the sport on the continent. Meanwhile, after record-breaking events in 2024, BRAVE CF is scheduled to return to Slovenia on June 7, 2025. Held in association with the leading local promotion WFC, the upcoming event will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia and is headlined by what is being billed as a clash of History vs. Legacy as reigning Light Heavyweight champion Erko Jun battles former two-division champion Mohammad Fakhreddine battling for the vacant Middleweight title.

Erko Jun enters the fight undefeated in BRAVE CF with three finishes, aiming to etch his name in history by becoming the second simultaneous two-division champion in the organization. Erko Jun’s connection with Slovenian soil is strong, having won the Light Heavyweight title in Slovenia. Competing on home turf, he is determined to keep his perfect record intact and add another chapter to his already impressive legacy. For Jun, it is a chance to become a dual-division champion and further his unbeaten streak in BRAVE CF. Mohammad Fakhreddine, on the other hand, returns to the cage after a two-year absence, having made a strong comeback at BRAVE CF 92 by stopping Abdel Rahmane Driai. Fakhreddine is determined to maintain his legacy as the only fighter to have achieved simultaneous championships in two divisions at BRAVE CF. For Fakhreddine, it is an opportunity to defend his legacy and potentially become the first fighter to defeat Erko Jun in the promotion. Beyond personal, this historic fight promises to be one of the most talked-about events in BRAVE CF’s history, encapsulating the spirit of competition and the pursuit of greatness in MMA.

Over the last four years, BRAVE Combat Federation, together with WFC, has elevated MMA to national sports status in Slovenia. In 2024, BRAVE CF and WFC held two events in the country, both of which were sold out. The second event, BRAVE CF 88, set new benchmarks for MMA events in Europe, crowning two new world champions — Erko Jun, who captured the Light Heavyweight title, and Pavel Dailidko, who won the Heavyweight title. Along with highlighting BRAVE CF’s continued commitment to MMA in Slovenia, the upcoming event will also underline BRAVE CF’s vision for European MMA as a whole. BRAVE CF is currently the most hosted MMA organization in Europe, having held events in 16 European nations. So far, BRAVE CF has hosted events in Northern Ireland, England, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Russia, Belarus, Italy, Poland, Serbia, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, and Austria with Slovenia emerging as one of its biggest success stories on the continent. Not only has BRAVE CF provided Slovenian fighters such as Monika Kučinič, Luka Podkrajšek, Miha Frlic, and Domen Drnovšek with opportunities to rise as international stars, but its influence has also resonated across Europe, with fighters like Erko Jun and Pavel Dailidko benefiting from BRAVE CF’s events in Slovenia. The upcoming event in June is set to raise the bar even higher, with major fights expected to be announced in the coming days, and will once again showcase Slovenia as a premier destination for MMA.
