DAZN, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, recently unveiled Eyes On The Rise, a new docuseries that delves into the lives of five of the most promising young footballers set to light up the world stage at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. Launched ahead of the upcoming inaugural competition and now available for on-demand streaming on the DAZN platform, Eyes On The Rise offers unprecedented access to the personal journeys, training regimens and matchday preparations of football’s next generation of icons. The first two episodes shine a spotlight on Obed Vargas of Seattle Sounders and Telasco Segovia of Inter Miami – two Major League Soccer (MLS) stars.
Vargas, who made history as the youngest player in Seattle Sounders history and the third youngest to play in MLS, takes centre stage in Episode One. Born in Alaska to Mexican parents, his story spans borders, cultures and a rising international career. Vargas said, “I’ve got roots in Alaska, my family is from Mexico, and I’ve represented both countries, so I’ve always felt like I’m carrying a few different flags with me. Playing in the FIFA Club World Cup, the first real global stage for clubs, feels like all those parts of my story coming together. Being one of only five players featured in Eyes On The Rise, especially around something as massive as the FIFA Club World Cup, is a real honour. This series will show people the real work behind the scenes, where I come from, and what I’m trying to build, and I’m proud to be part of it.” In Episode Two, audiences see behind the scenes with Venezuelan midfielder Telasco Segovia, whose meteoric rise has seen him go from domestic leagues in South America to sharing a dressing room with legends such as Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Sergio Busquets. Segovia said, “To have important players like Mascherano and Jordi Alba speak about me in this series, it’s a bit surreal. These are players I grew up watching, legends of the game. To have the chance to learn from them, let alone have them talk about my potential, means a lot. Coming from Venezuela, I never imagined I’d be sharing a dressing room with guys like Messi and Suárez, and now to be featured in Eyes On The Rise, it’s a reminder of how far I have come, and how far I still want to go.”

With intimate access to home life, training grounds and elite competition, Eyes On The Rise brings fans closer than ever to the next wave of football superstars. The series also includes never-seen-before personal archive footage and exclusive interviews with family, friends, coaches and football icons. Future episodes will feature Rodrigo Mora (Porto), who debuted in the Portuguese league at just 15; Adam Daghim (Salzburg), the Danish wonderkid already starring in Austria; and Tony Leone (Monterrey), a rising centre-back mentored by Sergio Ramos. Produced by Starting Eleven and the Emmy Award-winning Noah Media Group and executive produced by DAZN, Eyes On The Rise is an introspective exploration of football’s global future stars. On the other hand, “Who will be the undisputed champions of the world?” – declares legendary boxing ring announcer Michael Buffer as DAZN – the global home of sport – rings the bell on ‘Undisputed’, the star-studded blockbuster advert for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. With the world’s biggest clubs and greatest players take to the global stage, DAZN’s advert features some of the tournament’s standout names including Italian TV powerhouse Diletta Leotta – as Man City’s Erling Haaland, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, Inter Miami’s Luis Suárez and Boca Juniors’ Edinson Cavani, don their respective team colours and prepare to go to battle and be crowned the world’s great football club.
Set to the iconic sound of Eric B. & Rakim’s track Don’t Sweat the Technique, today’s advert is set to whet the appetites of sports fans around the globe. Luis Suárez showcases a Uruguayan Salto hometown mouthguard, while Cavani is heralded as ‘El Matador’. As tensions build, the players enter the stadium, before Kane and Haaland face off, and proceedings kick off, leaving one last powerful question: Who will be the undisputed? DAZN CEO of Global Markets Pete Oliver said, “We’re excited to partner with FIFA for this historical event, where throughout June and July and across the globe, fans will tune in on DAZN for the first time in history to see one club crowned the undisputed champion of the world.” The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup takes place on June 14-July 13, 2025 and will be hosted by the United States across 12 venues and 11 cities. The expanded format features 32 teams including Premier League clubs Chelsea and Manchester City with all 63 games broadcast live on DAZN for free over the course of 30 days, marking a new era for global club football – the most inclusive and competitive in FIFA history. As part of a groundbreaking partnership, every match will be completely free to a global audience, ensuring unparalleled accessibility and next-generation digital coverage.
