The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Continental Championship (MCC) returns for Season 6, marking the league's most competitive season yet! Recognized as MLBB's most promising emerging region outside of the traditional powerhouse leagues in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), the MCC has cemented its place on the global MLBB eSports stage. Riding the momentum of Team Spirit's and Virtus.pro's strong performances at the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) at the 2025 eSports World Cup (EWC), MCC has entered a new era of competitive play. Kicked off last September 13, Season 6 brings EECA teams' proven international strength to MCC.

Entering the Regular Season, MCC Season 6 sees eight of the region's strongest teams battle for the championship. Up for stakes are the championship title, US$40,000 prize pool, and qualification for the M7 World Championship (M7). The season's champion will advance directly to the M7 Main Stage while the runner-up team will move on to the M7 Wild Card. EECA teams have consistently proven themselves on the global stage and are bringing that competitive fire to MCC Season 6. Reigning champions Team Spirit have consistently dominated both regional and international stages. The powerhouse squad has won five league titles and recorded back-to-back top-four finishes at the M5 and M6 World Championships. League runner-up Virtus.pro have also established themselves as dark horses with a standout international debut. The team rose from the MCC Season 5 Closed Qualifiers to win the MSC at EWC 25 Wild Card. Building on these proven performances, Season 6 brings the region's strongest teams back to the league for its most competitive season yet and every match promises to push EECA's top MLBB talent to the limit as teams vie for the championship and the chance to qualify for the largest M Series to date. As a relatively new league, MCC teams made their first international appearance in 2024 at M5 in Manila, Philippines. MCC representatives Team Spirit stunned the world with a top-four finish in the most popular edition of the M Series to date — putting the region on the MLBB eSports map. The upcoming M7 will mark the first time MCC sends representatives to Indonesia for an international MLBB tournament. Returning to Jakarta for its seventh edition, the M Series — regarded as the pinnacle of MLBB eSports — will be its largest staging yet. EECA teams will have the opportunity to prove themselves on the biggest stage MLBB eSports has ever seen.

MOONTON Games EECA eSports Market Lead Wesley Liu said, "EECA has grown into one of the most competitive MLBB regions, and we're incredibly proud of how far the ecosystem has come. Our teams have shown their strength on the international stage and MCC Season 6 gives them the opportunity to bring that same level of performance back home. This season, we look forward to seeing our top teams battle for the championship and secure their spots for M7. I'm excited to see EECA teams establish themselves as title contenders in Indonesia — the home ground of MLBB eSports." MCC Season 6 brings back the Brave Draft — a global ban system that prevents teams from picking the same hero twice in a match. Last season, MCC became the first MLBB league leading to an international tournament to implement this drafting system. Designed to enhance strategic gameplay, the Brave Draft encourages players to adapt to new strategies and diverse hero compositions. Its successful integration has elevated EECA teams' performance by improving adaptability and expanding their hero pool, contributing to the league's increasing competitiveness. Wesley added, "Virtus.pro winning the MSC at EWC 25 Wild Card highlights how the Brave Draft and the Best-of-Three Regular Season (BO3) format from last season have elevated MCC gameplay. It challenged teams to adapt and diversify their strategies which pushed the overall level of competition higher. We expect every season to become increasingly competitive as teams refine their strategies, learn from international experience, and continue raising the bar for one another."

The Regular Season follows a BO3 format. The top two teams will earn direct qualification to the Playoffs on November 14-16 while the remaining six teams will compete in the Play-Ins scheduled for November 1-2 which will feature a double-elimination bracket which gives higher-ranked teams from the Regular Season an advantage. Competing in MCC Season 6 aside from last season's champions Team Spirit and runner-up Virtus.pro are CyberHero, Sibe Team, Forze eSports, Inverto, Verso Time, and OMBRA eSports.
