BBC Studios’ Arts In Motion Series Returns For Second Season Featuring Marina Abramović

BBC Studios has announced the return of Arts In Motion, an editorial programme that celebrates artistic excellence and achievement, in partnership with Rolex. Produced by BBC Studios, the new season brings together BBC Studios’ longstanding commitment to Arts and Culture programming with Rolex and its Perpetual Arts Initiative, aiming to spotlight creativity and innovation across the arts. Following a highly successful launch last year which featured masterclasses from high-profile figures in the arts world including actor Brian Cox and the Vienna Philharmonic and pianist Yuja Wang, the second season will offer content across the BBC’s international platforms including the BBC News Channel, BBC.com, the global BBC app and BBC Culture social media channels. 

Running from November 10, 2025 through to March 2026, six 23-minute episodes of Arts In Motion's second season on the BBC News Channel will be accompanied by captivating bespoke digital content for BBC.com and BBC social channels and are set to feature world-renowned cultural figures including conceptual artist Marina Abramović, Italian mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli, and the production powerhouse National Film and Television School (NFTS), performance collective (LA)HORDE and rising star architect Lina Ghotmeh who will share their creative process and artistic insights with audiences across the globe. The programmes will provide intimate, authentic and personal insight into the artistry behind the scenes and the journey of the of artists, whilst bridging the gap between artists and audience showing the emotional journey of their artistic process. The programmes will also be available on BBC iPlayer in the UK and associated short-form content on BBC.co.uk.

Alyssa Valdez Returns For Season 2 Of Pilipinas Live Original Series Aces

Alyssa Valdez is back — not just on the court, but on the screen. Following a successful debut season, the Queen of Philippine Volleyball returns with the second season of “Aces”, streaming exclusively on Pilipinas Live. Bringing in deeper stories, more personal anecdotes, and unfiltered conversations, the Creamline Cool Smashers superstar breaks bread with some of the sport’s most notable personalities, shining the light on her interviewees behind every serve, spike, and save. 

“We’re happy with the reception of Season 1 and this brand new season promises the same and probably more. I hope that our viewers get a little bit closer not just to the sport of volleyball but also to these people,” said Valdez. The season’s first episode, aptly titled “Guardians Of The Court”, featured elite liberos Dawn Macandili-Catindig of Cignal Super Spikers, Kath Arado of PLDT High Speed Hitters, and Dennise Lazaro-Revilla of Creamline Cool Smashers. Up next are Petro Gazz Angels’ Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Phillips. Also among the notable guests to watch out for are three-time UAAP MVP and Alas Pilipinas star Bella Belen, Valdez’ Creamline teammate Jema Galanza, and former Ateneo peers Fille Cainglet-Cayetano, Gretchen Ho, Dzi Gervacio, Jem Ferrer, and A Nacachi, collectively known as the ‘Fab Five’. 

Valdez engages her interviewees in heartfelt conversations, bringing the viewers on a ride beyond the taraflex. All eight episodes of Season 2 will be on the Pilipinas Live app, available on iOS and Android. Fans can catch the first two episodes of the new season anytime through the platform’s Free Zone with the remaining episodes of Season 2 as well as all episodes of Season 1 on the premium subscription option.

NCCT Recognizes GMA Network As A Child-Friendly Broadcast TV Station

GMA Network was honored by the National Council for Children's Television (NCCT) for its commitment to producing high-quality, child-appropriate, and culturally relevant content that supports the growth and development of Filipino children. During NCCT’s 28th anniversary celebration held in Pasay City last October 24, 2025, both GMA and its sister channel GTV were recognized as Child-Friendly Broadcast Television Stations, reaffirming the Kapuso Network’s long-standing commitment to family-centered and educational entertainment. 

Kapuso educational shows "iBilib" and "Born to be Wild" also received Honorable Mentions under the Child-Friendly Television Programs category for their fun, informative, and inspiring content that engages young audiences in science and environmental awareness. Meanwhile, a Posthumous Award was given to Robert “Uncle Bob” Stewart, the founder of Republic Broadcasting System (RBS), the precursor of GMA, to honor his legacy as one of the Pioneers and Champions of Children’s Television from the 1960s to the 1990s. Among those present at the awarding ceremony representing GMA were Program Management Department Senior Assistant Vice President Concepcion Agnes, Assistant Preview Manager Legrand Tulod, Public Affairs Segment Producer Shilla Anne Esquibel, Program Researcher Arnold Galvez Jr., Senior Preview Coordinator Nikka Garcia, and NCCT Media Monitoring Coordinator Clarisse Ann Dalangin. 

The event highlighted NCCT’s ongoing advocacy for child-friendly media, encouraging collaboration among stakeholders. It also celebrated organizations that continue to champion safe, educational, and enriching programming to help create a more child-centered media landscape.

Samsung TV Plus And V10 Entertainment Set To Launch America’s Funniest Home Videos’ First FAST Channel With Alfonso Ribeiro

Samsung TV Plus, one of the world’s largest streaming services, and V10 Entertainment, a private equity-backed media company, have teamed up to launch the first-ever dedicated FAST channel for America’s Funniest Home Videos hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro, set to debut later this year. The AFV with Alfonso Ribeiro channel on Samsung TV Plus will showcase more than 200 episodes from the ten most recent seasons of AFV hosted by Ribeiro, streaming exclusively across the domestic FAST market. Beginning in 2026, Samsung TV Plus will also offer in-season episodes from its current broadcast run in the U.S. on ABC where AFV airs every Sunday at 7:00 pm ET/4:00 pm PT. 

“This partnership brings AFV’s timeless comedy to a new generation of viewers while honoring its legacy. We’re thrilled to partner with Samsung TV Plus. CGTN Launches 3 Specialized FAST Channels, Reaching 200 Million Global Viewers

China Global Television Network (CGTN), China Media Group (CMG)'s international arm, officially launched three specialized channels on free advert-supported streaming television (FAST) platforms, offering up a variety of programming to global viewers. The newly launched channels — CGTN Global Biz, China Travel and Discovering China — will be broadcast 24/7 across 15 major international FAST platforms, reaching nearly 200 million viewers worldwide. It marks a crucial step as CMG explores new business formats in the expansion of its international communications strategy. 

The channels were launched at the Global South Media Partners Mechanism Inauguration Meeting and the 13th Global Video Media Forum (VMF) which opened in the ancient city of Xi'an in northwest China's Shaanxi Province last November 6, 2025. The three new channels will focus on delivering specific content that meets the demands of overseas audiences. The CGTN Global Biz channel aims to establish a round-the-clock financial information service platform. Featuring real-time financial news, market analysis, and in-depth interviews, it will help global viewers decode China's latest economic policies and market trends. The China Travel channel seeks to spotlight China's tourism and lifestyle trends, serving as a window for the world to better understand the vibrant cultural offerings in today's China. The Discovering China channel will showcase a selection of documentaries that reflect the achievements of Chinese modernization and highlight exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations, presenting a panoramic view of China's development journey alongside the country's cultural charm. 

According to CGTN, the three channels will air six hours of original programming each day, which will be broadcast in a daily loop, with the content coming from the organization's high-quality production resources. Since 2023, CGTN has been working on advancing the FAST medium and has already promoted the CGTN English Channel and Documentary Channel on leading global FAST platforms. As an emerging and fast-growing business format in the global television market in recent years, FAST TV features specialized content, recognizable branding, accessible programming and operational support via advertisements.
