Global pop sensation KUN releases his self-titled sophomore full-length album and debut project via 88rising where the celebrated multi-hyphenate singer, producer, fashion icon, and global pop sensation crafts a homecoming to the unexpected sounds that shaped him across 11 songs, all of which he co-wrote and co-produced. Drifting between decades and genres, across rock, soul, jazz, pop and R&B, KUN filters the timeless textures of American music’s roots with contemporary clarity that showcases his expansive vocal range. The album includes a feature from GRAMMY-nominated frequent Anderson .Paak collaborators Free Nationals.
To celebrate the release, KUN has shared a filmic, otherworldly music video for the album’s standout focus single “Colder”. The guitar-driven and emotionally raw track captures KUN haunted by regret and leaning into a darker alt-rock sound. Its stark, cinematic production and confessional lyrics channels isolation into something visceral. Its playful yet distressing video was shot in Iceland co-starring KUN as his spaceship crash lands on a planet with only a snowman as his companion. It is directed by Folkert Verdoorn and Simon Becks (FKA Twigs, A$AP Rocky) with art direction by Eggert Ketilsson (Dunkirk, Interstellar). KUN says of the album, “While making the album, I lived inside the songs. I followed them everywhere, from writing to visuals. I followed “Colder” to the glaciers of Iceland, where the cold went straight to my bones but also felt strangely peaceful and healing. “Jasmine” brought me into a bustling city, where everything was loud and overwhelming but somehow still felt freeing. When I performed “What a Day” for the first time before it was released, I felt immersed in the energy and imperfections that come with performing live. So when I went to the studio to record it, I used older recording methods to capture that same feeling. Those imperfect moments are what make us human. I used to ask, “What do they want to hear?” This time, I finally asked, “What do I want to sing?” I’m drawn to sounds that feel most human and warm, like vintage records, old films, classic melodies that feel like they’ve lived longer than we have. I want to make music that carries that feeling forward. I want to make music that can resonate across generations and cultures and reach all of us.”
KUN also announces a Spring North American/UK/European tour including stops in LA, San Francisco, Dallas, Chicago, NYC, DC, London and Paris. These follow major 2025 US performances including the sold out Fonda Theatre headlining concert and sets at Head In The Clouds Festivals in NYC and LA. Across Asia, KUN continues to make waves, further cementing his influence in the region. He was recently honored as All-Round Artist of the Year at JOOX Top Music Night in Bangkok and headlined the inaugural Bubbling & Boiling Festival in Singapore. Most recently, he appeared as a guest performer for a special performance on Indonesian Idol, airing on national broadcast television and reaching millions of viewers across the country.

EDSA People Power Concert “Awit At Aksyon Kontra Korapsyon” Aims To Intensify Fight Against Corruption

Aiming to not only rekindle the spirit of the bloodless and peaceful revolution but also to inspire and intensify the ongoing fight against corruption, the EDSA People Power 40 Kick-Off Concert on February 21, 2026 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle will now carry the theme “Awit At Aksyon Kontra Korapsyon”. Presented and co-organized by the Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) and Kaya Natin!, the concert seeks to remind Filipinos that the unity and courage that restored the country’s democracy in 1986 can today be channeled in the fight against corruption.
The organizers stated, “People Power proved that the Filipino people, when united, can stand up to injustice and demand accountability. This concert is a way to honor that legacy while encouraging citizens, especially the youth, to continue the fight for transparency and good governance.” Through this event, they aim to reinforce that fighting corruption is a shared responsibility for all Filipinos. The concert will feature some of the country’s top performers including Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, Rivermaya, Ice Seguerra, Ebe Dancel, Pio Balbuena, Morobeats, Elmo Magalona, Arkin Magalona, Chelsea Alley, and Over October. Adding color to the celebration are stand-up comedians Alex Calleja and Red Ollero, Iza Calzado, Bea Binene, and DJ JhaiHo.
The commemoration continues the following day, February 22, with a Holy Mass and Prayer Rally at the EDSA Shrine at 12:00 noon to be presided over by Cardinal Ambo David. It will be capped by the 40th anniversary celebration spearheaded by Tindig Pilipinas and the Trillion Peso March Movement on February 25 at the People Power Monument.

Internet icon Markiplier brings the cult horror game “Iron Lung” to cinemas. Originally developed as a minimalist indie horror game, it gained a massive following for its claustrophobic setting, unconventional storytelling, and deeply unsettling premise. Its popularity surged through the creator community — especially after Markiplier’s viral gameplay introduced it to millions, cementing its place in modern internet horror culture. Iron Lung follows a convict sent on a dangerous mission to explore a desolate moon. In the film, Markiplier plays Simon, a convict welded into a tiny, rusted submarine called the “Iron Lung”. Set in a post-apocalyptic future after an event known as “The Quiet Rapture” which caused all known stars and habitable planets to vanish, Simon must navigate an ocean of blood on the barren moon AT‑5. The story brings the game’s tense, claustrophobic, and psychological horror to life on the big screen, keeping fans on edge as they experience the terrifying mission through Simon’s perspective.
Despite being a low-budget indie production and marking Markiplier’s filmmaking debut, Iron Lung achieved remarkable success thanks to its dedicated fanbase, earning $17.8M (17.8 million dollars) during its U.S. opening weekend across 3,015 cinemas. Early viewers praised the film as a faithful and intense adaptation of the original game, capturing its suspense, gripping fear, and relentless thrill.

HONNE Announces 10th Anniversary Reimagined Album ‘HONNE — 10’

To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the release of its debut album, HONNE announced ‘HONNE — 10’, a special re-recording project featuring stripped-back, reimagined versions of some of their most beloved songs. The new 12-track album revisits material from the duo’s first two albums, presenting the songs in an intimate, minimal setting that highlights their lyrics and emotional core, while capturing the honesty and warmth that have defined HONNE’s music over the past decade.
Reflecting on the project, HONNE shares, “We’ve been sitting on this for a while, and we’re really excited to finally share it with you. To mark 10 years of HONNE, we went back to the songs that started everything, recording stripped-back acoustic versions from our first two albums. Spending time with these songs again reminded us why we started HONNE in the first place, and why this music still means so much to us.” Since releasing their first song “Warm On A Cold Night”, HONNE’s journey has taken them far beyond anything they could have imagined. “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” Kapuso Big Winner Mika Salamanca finally dropped her first single “Kasalanan” from her highly anticipated debut album under Star Music last February 6, 2026 that instantly landed the no. 1 spot on iTunes Philippines and among the featured tracks in the New Music Fridays list of Spotify and Billboard Philippines. Written by Star Music artists Jeremy G and P-Pop group WRIVE’s Russu Laurente and Ishiro Incapas, “Kasalanan” talks about fearlessly and freely falling in love regardless of what other people think. Mika shared, “It is also a love letter to my fans who have been there for me no matter what.”
In the song’s official music video, the Kapuso star teamed up with Kapamilya actor Anthony Jennings where they delivered an action-packed, mafia-inspired love story to the delight of many fans. “Anthony is perfect for the role since he is used to doing action stunts. He guided me all throughout and I am very thankful for him for being part of the music video,” said Mika. “Kasalanan” debuted on national television via ABS-CBN's daily noontime variety show “It’s Showtime” with a fierce performance from Mika together with Femme MNL. “Idol Philippines” season 2 contestant Drei Sugay officially marks a new chapter in his music career with the release of his debut extended play (EP) “Pagsuko/Pagsulong” which chronicles the beginning of love and the pivotal choices that shape its direction. The six-track EP, now available worldwide on digital music streaming platforms, captures the different stages of love through “Paglukso”, “Pag-Ibig”, “Pagsuko”, “Pagsulong”, “Pagpili”, and “Paghintay”.
The key track “Pag-Ibig” delves into loving too hard and losing oneself in the process. Drei co-wrote and produced the track with Nameless Kids lead vocalist Nhiko Sabiniano while StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos served as supervising producer. Following his “Idol PH” journey, Drei dropped his debut single “Ganun Talaga” in 2023 which has over 600,000 streams on Spotify. He continued to showcase his musicality with songs like “Aking Tangi”, “Iyong Mga Mata”, and “Pano Naman Ako”. Drei was recently introduced as one of the new Star Hunt Academy’s idol trainees.
