Calling all aspiring eSports athletes in Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore! Registration for the OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Campus Series (MCS) is now open. Building on last year's OPPO Smooth Legend Cup's legacy, this year's tournament marks a strategic evolution by shifting its focus from grassroots competition to the campus ecosystem. The initiative aims to strengthen collegiate eSports across Southeast Asia by creating a structured pathway for student players and recent graduates to compete at a regional level.
The OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MCS is launched under the strategic collaboration between global technology brand OPPO and international video game developer MOONTON Games as part of MLBB's Golden Month campaign. Following a successful collaboration last year, the alliance continues to deliver large-scale gaming celebrations, giving players around the world the opportunity to take part in an exciting in-game and community experience. Through this cross-national campus tournament, MLBB and OPPO aim to empower university students across Southeast Asia with greater competitive opportunities while reinforcing MLBB's long-term commitment to nurturing campus communities and developing the next generation of eSports talent. MOONTON Games Head of eSports Ecosystem Ray Ng said, "The OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series represents our shared vision of creating a sustainable eSports ecosystem in Southeast Asia. As part of the Golden Month celebration, this collaboration with OPPO reflects our commitment to bringing meaningful gaming experiences to communities while creating competitive pathways for university students and young talents to showcase their skills on a regional stage. By combining OPPO's innovation with MLBB's thriving eSports community, we hope to empower the next generation of players to create their own golden moments and inspire campus communities across the region." OPPO Asia Pacific Chief Marketing Officer Jiang Linlin said, "OPPO has always believed in enabling users to unlock their full potential through technology and innovation. Through the OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series, we are excited to support the next generation of eSports talent across Southeast Asia by providing a platform where campus players can showcase their skills, take pride in representing their universities, connect with the gaming community, and make their golden moments on the competitive arena of MLBB."

As part of the broader development of the collegiate esports ecosystem, the OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MCS will collaborate with the MOONTON Student Leader Championship (MSLC) programme in Malaysia where the winner of MSL Season 6 will directly qualify for the Cross-National Finals to represent the country on the regional stage. MOONTON Games MLBB Malaysia Game Publishing Lead - Business Development and Campus Marketing Jeffery Chan said, "We are excited with the collaboration between OPPO and MSL Championship as part of MLBB's collegiate eSports initiative which reflects a shared commitment to nurturing young talents in Malaysia.
