Emerging as one of the most prominent P-Pop exports from Davao City, Hara is steadily gaining attention for their commanding stage presence and undeniable charisma. The six-member girl group, whose name is derived from a pre-colonial term that means “beauty” and “strength,” carries their identity with intention. They are currently managed by Unique Music Management, led by Paul Widger, best known for his work with Craig David. The breakthrough P-Pop group shares, “Being the first 100% homegrown P-pop group from Davao under Unique Music Management is something we’re really proud of. They believed in our potential and helped guide us creatively while still allowing us to express stories and emotions. Their mentorship pushed us to aim for high quality in our performance, sound, and overall artistry.”
Hara recently secured a recording deal with Sony Music Entertainment, joining the label’s growing roster of P-Pop acts that includes SB19, KAIA, and YARA. Marking their first team-up with the global music company, the Davao-based alphas unveiled the Eurohouse-flavored pop track “My Love” as their pre-debut single. Buoyed by subtle piano chords and sophisticated grooves, “My Love” transports the listeners into clubland fantasia, where suave, confident vocals and magnetic dance-pop production create a mesmerizing sonic experience. The track was produced, mixed, and mastered by Pao Lofranco and Aldy, who worked closely with the group to bring their vision to life. Hara explains, “The production and arrangement were carefully crafted to match the emotions of the lyrics. We worked closely with our producers and creative team to make sure the sound complemented the story of the song. From the instrumental to the vocal layers, everything was arranged to highlight vulnerability while still sounding polished and modern.” According to the six-piece act, “My Love” was written as a nod to girlhood: a transitory but important phase in life where women experience loving deeply, feeling things intensely, and sometimes giving one’s heart to people who don’t deserve even a fraction of it. “The song talks about heartbreak but also about realizing your worth. It’s about women learning that not everyone is worthy of their love and that it’s okay to walk away. At the same time, we also wanted to show that women aren’t just victims of heartbreak: we’re strong, we make choices, and sometimes we’re the ones who choose ourselves first. The message we hope listeners take away is self-love, empowerment, and knowing your value.”
The track sets the tone for their creative direction: earnest, emotionally resonant, and unapologetically empowering. The members add, “These are the stories that we want to tell. We wanted our first song to connect with people emotionally and show that HARA is here to speak for girlhood, growth, and strength.” HARA’s “My Love” is out now on all digital music platforms worldwide via Sony Music Entertainment.

There’s no denying it: the world — and especially the Philippines — is officially in BLACKPINK’s area. In a historic major achievement, BLACKPINK has officially become the first musical artist in history to surpass 100 million YouTube subscribers on their Official Artist Channel. This victory cements Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa as the undisputed queens of the digital age.
To mark this incredible “centennial” milestone, YouTube has presented the group with a custom Red Diamond Creator Award. While the Diamond Play Button is already a rare sight, the Red Diamond is an elite honor reserved for the platform’s most influential creators. For BLACKPINK to be the first musical act to ever touch this tier speaks volumes about the unprecedented bond they share with their fans. It’s no secret that the Philippines remains one of the group’s strongest strongholds. In the last year alone, the Philippines consistently ranked among the top countries contributing to BLACKPINK’s massive 3.3 billion annual views according to YouTube’s Charts data. Whether it’s streaming the record-breaking “Pink Venom” or re-watching the iconic “DDU-DU DDU-DU” (which has now sailed past 2.3 billion views), Filipino BLINKs have been instrumental in this journey to 100 million. The timing couldn’t be more perfect as this historic achievement serves as the ultimate hype for the group’s highly anticipated return.
After years of record-breaking solo ventures and a massive world tour that saw them conquer the Philippine Arena once again, the quartet is finally reuniting as a full group. BLACKPINK recently released their 3rd mini-album [DEADLINE] last February 27, 2026. With the lead single “Go” now taking over the airwaves and playlists, the 100-million-strong subscriber base is already poised to break the internet yet again. From their debut in 2016 to the Red Diamond of 2026, BLACKPINK continues to prove that they always set the standard for what global superstardom looks like.

Singer-songwriter and multimedia artist Cesca shares a sweet yet slightly chaotic love confession in her new single “I’m Nilalamig”. The StarPop artist said, “This song is about that awkward, exciting phase where I’m clearly catching feelings but pretending I’m not. I try to act normal, keep my distance, convince myself I’m being demure, until one small moment completely gives me away. Saying I’m cold turns into him offering his coat, and from there, things just shift.” The indie pop track was composed and produced by Cesca, serving as her comeback to the music scene. She also co-produced the song with StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos.
In 2022, Cesca released her debut extended play (EP), “Travel,” featuring the tracks “Lovesick – Pagmahalasakit”, “Pambihirang Harana”, and “What If”.
