The Born2WinPH Forex Bulls etched their names in Philippine pickleball history after emerging as champions of the inaugural Pickle Yard Conference League (PYCL). Owned by Ferdie and Alyanna Pabalan who are respected figures in the forex education industry who have now expanded into professional sports team ownership, the Born2WinPH Forex Bulls represent not only competitive excellence but also leadership, discipline, and the vision of building winning communities both in business and in sports.
As the country’s first professional franchise-based pickleball league, PYCL introduced a new era for the rapidly growing sport by bringing together elite players, corporate-backed teams, and a highly competitive league format inspired by professional sports organizations. Led by team manager Jaysteel Dacudao and team captain Medelene Saraza — regarded as one of the top female athletes in the Philippines — the Born2WinPH Forex Bulls displayed exceptional chemistry, resilience, and consistency throughout the season. The championship roster of the Born2WinPH Forex Bulls also featured Red Directo, Chloe Saraza, Al Quiza, Von Saraza, Engita Levinsohn, Analyn Amoloy, and Leandro Fernandez whose combined talent, teamwork, and determination helped power the franchise to its historic title run. The Born2WinPH Forex Bulls rose above a talented field that included the Cebuana Lhuillier Gems, Dentacare Pearly Whites, Philex Vanguards, Pertua Stallions, Fortrust Masters, and other participating franchises to secure and capture the Pickle Yard Conference League (PYCL) Season 1 championship and the ₱500,000 grand prize. The league quickly gained momentum among sports enthusiasts and the pickleball community as weekly matchups delivered high-intensity rallies, dramatic finishes, and growing fan support. Early in the season, the Born2WinPH Forex Bulls already established themselves as one of the teams to beat after taking the lead in the standings.
Organized by The Pickle Yard, PYCL Season 1 was created to elevate pickleball in the Philippines through a structured professional setup featuring team franchises, player drafts, rankings, and long-format competition. Beyond the championship, the league also served as a platform to develop athletes and strengthen the sport’s nationwide following. With pickleball continuing to grow across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the successful launch of PYCL signals a bright future for professional pickleball in the country. As confetti fell and celebrations erupted, the Born2WinPH Forex Bulls secured their place as the first-ever champions of the Pickle Yard Conference League — a milestone that will forever be remembered in Philippine pickleball history.
