The signing brought together athletes, partners, and stakeholders who share a common vision of bringing one of today’s fastest-rising sports closer to Filipinos at home and abroad.

Hosted by GMA International and GMA Pinoy TV’s podcast host Tonie Pua and PYCL’s Moxx De Vera, the ceremony was attended by key leaders from both organizations represented by GMA Network First Vice President and Head of International Operations Joseph T. Francia, GMA International Senior Programming Manager Mary Anne M. Following the ceremony, a pickleball game demonstration featuring players from GMA International and PYCL gave guests a firsthand look at the speed, skill, and intensity that define the sport. PYCL started in 2025 and officially launched in 2026 as the country’s first professional pickleball league. It brings together corporate-backed teams and some of the Philippines’ top players, creating a platform where athletes can elevate their game while opening the sport to more Filipinos, here and around the world. This is exactly what viewers can expect when the matches air on GMA International channels, bringing that same energy and excitement closer to Global Pinoys worldwide. At the heart of the league are the players who bring its energy to life. From those present during the ceremonial contract signing to the standout athletes set to compete in PYCL Season 1 and 2, these competitors represent the talent, intensity, and passion that fans can look forward to as the league unfolds.

Saraza has become a role model for aspiring athletes, embodying how passion, discipline, and heart shape a strong mindset while Patrimonio leads with composure and teamwork, showing that true competition goes beyond scoring and is about lifting others along the way. Tim Polero, known as “The Enforcer”, embraces every challenge with grit and purpose, reflecting the resilience that defines high-level play. Diana Hughes, dubbed “Wonderwoman”, brings relentless energy and focus, pushing those around her to step beyond their limits. Jimbo Gonzalez, or “Speedy”, brings quickness and consistency to every rally, while Eren Chua, known as “The Lob-ly Queen”, stands out for her disciplined and composed approach both on and off the court. Kim Ivor Saraza, also known as “Picklebear”, continues to push for excellence through hard work and focus, while Johnny Arcilla, “The Legend”, adds experience and leadership that continue to inspire a new generation of players. Among the rising talents, Macy Ybanez, or “Lady Tower”, brings composure and consistency, while Ken Unique Dela Cruz, “Chinito Smasher”, delivers intensity and accountability in crucial moments.
