It's hard for anyone to argue that the Pinoy Pride series is definitively the most prominent and most consistent avenue for Philippine boxing, and its long-time partnership with ABS-CBN Sports brings the series closer to the Filipino people leading to consistent high ratings and digital numbers. It also brought Philippine boxing to new heights with Donnie "Ahas" Nietes now cementing his legacy as a three-division world champion and the longest-reigning Filipino world boxing champion and the likes of Milan Melindo, Albert and Jason Pagara, and Mark Magsayo making their own mark in the sport.
However, ALA Promotions wants to extend its focus on talents that were never showcased on the Pinoy Pride cards through working with other promotions that assures these future stars the exposure they deserve. Furthermore, it also wants to work with other fighters that have made their mark outside the country such as Marlon Tapales, Jerwin Ancajas, and so much more. Hopefully it will only be a matter of time before they become the new stars of local boxing as we know it.
A new chapter for ALA Promotions and the Pinoy Pride series is definitely on the horizon, and the new undertaking will take Philippine boxing to a whole new level as long as there are established stars waiting to be showcased across a wider audience that will put the sport on the right track.
