One of the most popular and well-loved mobile devices in the Philippines throughout the start of the new millennium is making its return to our local shores, and HMD Global is assuring customers that the new iteration of the Nokia 3310 will become available by the end of June. But, the new 3310 is not the only one that will make its way to our country as Nokia's first official lineup of Android smartphones is going to make an impact to local markets as well.

Anyway, what made the Nokia 3310 a popular mobile relic back in the new millennium is its durability, long battery life and the phenomenal mobile game Snake. These features are made possible in the 2017 version, but it has more than what the new iteration can offer. In fact, the new Nokia 3310 will also include a 2 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, micro SD card slot for expandable memory, Dual SIM capability, and microUSB charging and data sync ports to make it have a modern feel.

The Nokia 3310 2017 version is priced at a very intriguing Php2,490 SRP and it comes in four colors, namely: yellow, warm red, dark blue and grey.

As I said in the introduction, HMD Global also introduced the first official lineup of Android-powered smartphones under the Nokia brand which will also be made available in our local shores by the end of June alongside the new 3310. But, I just want to talk about the Nokia 6 considering that it is a powerful mid-range smartphone that has gained the interest of many tech enthusiasts. Just take a look at its specs and you'll find out why.

With a price of Php11,990, how could anyone resist the power, beauty and feel of an Android smartphone if it has a Nokia name on it? At least the Nokia 3 and 5 are more affordable than what you think, but I'll talk more about that some other time.
