Bandai Namco Games in partnership with popular online live streaming service Twitch officially announced the staging of REV Major Philippines, an international fighting game tournament which is slated to be held on July 8 and 9, 2017 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight in Circuit Makati. Gaming enthusiasts and fans of fighting games can expect more international e-sports players from different parts of the globe gathering and competing in a much bigger scale. The tournament will feature some of the best fighting games available in the market which include Injustice 2, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighter XIV, Street Fighter V, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and Super Smash Bros. 4 for Wii U.
Aside from Tekken 7 being the main event of the fighting game major, it is also announced that REV Major Philippines is a Tekken World Tour Master Event. This would mean that players participating in the Tekken 7 tournament will have the chance to earn points and qualify for the Southeast Asian grand finals. I am assured that Filipino players will get the opportunity to compete further against some of the best professional gamers in the world and earn more ranking points to make a name for themselves.
