Marvel's Inhumans, which will be shown by the end of September, is the
first series from Marvel Studios and the first to be shot completely in IMAX
cameras. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup,
they barely escape to Hawaii where they find that their surprising interaction
with the lush world and humanity around them could not only save them but Earth
itself as well. Meanwhile, set to make its digital debut on November 21, 2017,
Marvel's Runaways is the first television adaptation of a Marvel comic of the
same name where a band of teenagers face never-before-seen adversaries with
their newfound powers amidst the fact that their parents are supervillains.
Then there is Marvel's Cloak and Dagger which revolves around the crime
fighting duo of Tyrone Johnson and Tarely Bowen sharing a symbolic relationship
as Light and Darkness incarnate. The series is set to make its way to digital
audiences by next year. These new shows will be the latest addition to HOOQ's
library of Marvel superhero movies and television shows which include Agents of
SHIELD, Agent Carter, Guardians of the Galaxy Volumes 1 and 2, Thor, The
Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America: The First Avenger among others.
For HOOQ chief executive officer Peter Bithos, the three new Marvel
shows becoming available on the same day of their US telecast is something that
the platform should be proud of and will eventually bring Marvel superheroes
closer to its subscribers. This development is just the beginning of more things
to come for HOOQ as it continues to deliver fresh, compelling and edgy stories
to binge-watchers across different parts of Asia.
