Delegates from Southeast Asian countries and Japan were treated to a
special screening staged by ABS-CBN Corporation during their stay in the
Philippines for the ASEAN-Japan Television Festival which was held last
September 6-9, 2017.
Headlining the said screening is one of the country's biggest and most
popular primetime dramas La Luna Sangre, the third installment of the Moonstone
Trilogy where it revolves around Malia Rodriguez (played by Kathryn Bernardo)
and Tristan Torralba (portrayed by Daniel Padilla) who are destined to be
intertwined by a new prophecy. Aside from La Luna Sangre, ABS-CBN also
showcased some of its top-rating programs Wildflower and Lost Hearts (Pusong Ligaw)
as well as box-office hits Finally Found Someone and Love You To The Stars and
Back that has caught the attention and eventually awed content providers upon
their visit to the network's booth in the content market.
ABS-CBN also took part in a one-day content and production workshop
that tackles the content market overview in Southeast Asia and Japan and
discusses new and engaging trends in content production and enduring challenges
regarding cross-border policies. Representing the network in the said workshop was
business unit head and TV director Ruel S. Bayani.
On the last day of the festival, ABS-CBN formally opened the doors of
its broadcast center to selected delegates where they were able to visit the
sets of It's Showtime and Goin' Bulilit, meet the shows' producers and interact
with the lead stars of the romantic comedy flick Loving In Tandem. Highly
regarded as the premiere media and entertainment company in the Philippines,
ABS-CBN continues to provide Filipino audiences around the world with world-class
quality productions including top-rating and highly engaging dramas, box-office
blockbusters and topnotch localized franchise hits as part of its ongoing
commitment in the service of every Filipino.
