Rising Force Online, a sci-fi MMORPG which was originally introduced in the Philippines in 2007, is making its return to our local shores via Asiasoft's local subsidiary PlayPark that is set to delight old and new fans of what was once an immensely popular game in the first decade of the new millennium. But, RF Online is just one of the many big surprises from PlayPark and we'll get to that after learning more about the relaunch.

Rising Force Philippines will once again be fighting for the attention of generations of Filipino MMORPG gamers which has been indulging in DOTA 2 and League of Legends through the years, and what makes the game unique enough to have it being rebooted for the Philippine market is the massive and constant PvP (player versus player) battles which would hopefully slated to remain its selling point in the near future.

Rising Force Online, which originally enjoyed its run in the Philippines from 2007 to 2013, revolves around three warring factions, namely: the Holy Alliance of Cora where the residents are heavy magic users and its culture is rooted in theocracy; the United Bellato Federation which makes use of mechanized units and is steadfast in their pursuit to enforce their motto "Freedom of Conquest"; and the Accretia Empire where the residents traded their own flesh for metal.

RF Online Philippines will be initially available as a closed beta on November 2017 with details on how to become part of the said beta to be announced in the coming days. It will be followed by a wider open beta release on December where players are required to sign up for a PlayPark account at www.playpark.com. Players may expect huge improvements on RF Online especially the game's resolution since it was once released way before HD became the norm and high-speed internet was previously not on a high note.

Anyway, aside from the return of RF Online Philippines, here are some of the announcements made by PlayPark during its event held last October 24, 2017.

* Special Force is now played by more than 1.1 million Filipino gamers since its 2016 relaunch.
* A new server will be launched for Perfect World Philippines which has been running for 10 years now.
* The dance simulation MMOG Audition, now the longest-running online game in the Philippines, will be getting a new level and soon have a feature where players can log-in to the game via Facebook.
* The fantasy MMORPG Luna Online and the tower defense title War Of Heroes will be officially launched soon.
* Team Wagas and Team Essence are introduced as the Philippine representatives to the Special Force Online World Championships which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand on December 1-3, 2017. Following the tourney will be the staging of PlayPark XP, which is touted as the biggest Christmas party in Asia for gamers, happening on December 10, 2017.
