Hundreds of shoppers in SM City Lipa have taken most of their time to share blessings and help those in need during the holiday season by taking part in SM Supermalls' Bears of Joy program.

Since its inception in 2015, the nationwide program invites mallgoers and shoppers to purchase a pair of stuffed bears for only Php200 where one of the bears will be donated to children though one may consider to give up both bears for charity. In SM City Lipa, more than 400 bears have been sold which would be a big help for more than 400 children by the end of the program.

In a simple turnover ceremony led by SM City Lipa operations manager Liza F. Dimaculangan held last December 27, 2018, part of the donations were being given to children of SOS Children's Village while the rest went to the young sons and daughters of the mall's maintenance staff and security guards.

With the Bears of Joy program in the books and even capping off 2017, SM City Lipa will continue to exert efforts to help serve communities not only in the city of Lipa but also on neighboring towns as it enters a new chapter in 2018.
