ASUS
Philippines is kicking off the new year with the highly-anticipated release of its
first smartphone for 2018, the ASUS Zenfone Max Plus, which has been highly
regarded as the new "Battery King" because of its 4130 mAh battery.
Aside
from its battery life, the Zenfone Max Plus sports a 5.7-inch Full HD+ IPS all-screen display, dual rear cameras with wide angle lens, 4G LTE connectivity, and
fingerprint sensor and face unlock for better security. It runs on Android 7.0
Nougat OS and it is powered by Mediatek MT6750 octa core processor coupled with
4 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card. It will be
available in the Philippines for Php11,999.
Those
who are interested in purchasing the Battery King may visit the ASUS concept
store at the SM Mall of Asia on January 14, 2018. The first 200 customers (150 pre-registered buyers and 50 walk-ins) will have their purchased unit bundled with freebies worth Php7,595 including a
Zenny Doll, a Zenfone Max Plus jacket, a JBL Bluetooth Speaker, a clear case and a USB-OTG cable among others. As of this writing, the pre-registration has ended.
