Summer is just around the corner, and more Filipino gamers are starting
to gain interest on Nintendo's hybrid gaming system, the Switch. Some who have
already made up their minds on purchasing the Switch are having second thoughts
on which games are they going to enjoy within the comforts of their own own
home and on-the-go under the scorching heat. Well, it seems that there are some
games that would surely delight Switch owners and the best thing about them is
that they are due to be out throughout the season.
With that in mind, let Ronie The Trubist share with you a few games
that would truly make your summer gaming experience enjoyable when you are
using the Nintendo Switch. Oh, and don't push me to add Megaman Legacy
Collection on the list because I've already made an article about it a few
weeks ago if you search for it in the archives. Anyway, here are upcoming
Nintendo Switch games that would truly make any Filipino gaming trubist's
summer spectacular.
1. Donkey Kong Country:
Tropical Freeze
Originally released on the Wii U, the newest installment of the platformed
franchise featuring one of Nintendo's well-loved characters is making its
well-deserved debut on the Switch by the start of May. Aside from challenging
obstacles and various good-looking levels along the way, the Switch version has
an extra bonus element included in the mix - Funky Kong, to say the least.
2. Dark Souls Remastered
Want to play Dark Souls on a Nintendo home console? Well, the
remastered version of the first among Bandai Namco's Dark Souls trilogy can
fulfill your desire as a Nintendo fan. At the same time, it will be quite a
pleasure for any Dark Souls fan to relive playing the first game on the likes
of the Nintendo Switch and more.
3. Mario Tennis Aces
It's been a long time since we've last heard of a new installment of Mario
Tennis other than Mario Power Tennis for the GameCube. Now, one of the most
interesting among Mario sports game franchises is making its long-awaited
return with so much in store and most are not yet seen on a Nintendo system
since the first Mario Tennis game in the mid-90s until now. Once it is all said
and done upon its June release, it will all be game, set and match for Switch
owners.
4. Hyrule Warriors
Definitive Edition
The turn-based action game from Koei with characters, enemies and
environments from The Legend of Zelda is set to make a definitive statement
once it makes its way towards the Nintendo Switch by May, and there are more
things you should know about Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition. I recommend
