The unprecedented success of the Philippine Pro Gaming League and its undaunted achievements in the recently-concluded DOTA 2 Asia Championships a few days ago are clear statements that 2018 is slated to be the year of Mineski. On its road to glory, it is assumed that one of the top professional gaming teams in the Philippines and Southeast Asia will be resilient in becoming one force to be reckoned with in the world of eSports.

And perhaps the only thing that would undoubtedly make Mineski's new mission possible is its participation in The International 2018, which is highly-regarded as one of the biggest and most prestigious pro gaming tourneys in the world today. But judging from what I have discovered recently in its social media platforms, it seems like Mineski's road to The International will not be easy to miss out on.

Mineski recently announced on Facebook that it has officially backed out of a qualifying tournament in Thailand mostly due to their stand against biased organizers. Prior to that announcement, the group made a statement regarding one of their members' racist comments. These may be considered slight struggles to begin with, but they may be driving the team away from its responsible gaming advocacy if they are not being dealt with. But I guess it is natural for any team to have internal problems in its case before making traction in a particular event it is participating in.

Watching Kuwentong DOTA whether on television or online may give you a simple rundown on what the recently concluded PPGL 2018 was all about, and I believe it would be best for anyone to take it into heart because responsible gaming is real and legit. You may have been surprised by the fact that the highly-anticipated local pro gaming event has ended considering that it was held before the Lenten season, but it is hopeful that Kuwentong DOTA becomes an avenue for us to learn what has been transpired during the weekend spectacular.

Anyway, it is quite understandable for Mineski to resolve its issues before and even after its participation in local and international events and it won't be long before its road to glory reaches heights that any active pro gaming team could not reach during their time. With that in mind, I wish Mineski the best of luck in its forthcoming endeavors.
