While gaming communities around the globe are preparing for the return of the Blue Bomber through its latest installment Megaman 11, world-renouned Japanese-based video game publisher and developer CAPCOM made a bold and intriguing move to bring the legacy of one of the Blue Bomber's finest stories to generations of gamers in today's modern world. And that would happen to be the legendary story of Megaman X.

Following the unprecedented success of the first six Megaman games released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Capcom officially introduced Megaman X as a completely different story in the Megaman universe and released its first game in 1993 for the 16-bit Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Since then, the series has spawned eight thrilling installments that has captivated even younger gamers through the years considering that every game is imbued with challenging obstacles, action-packed mayhem and the unforgettable well-loved Megaman formula.

In my case, it looks like the folks at Capcom feel that it will be interestingly heartwarming for the series to be brought to a new wave of young and old gamers. And this is where fans of the series are delighted to get their hands on Megaman X Legacy Collection, a compilation featuring all eight Megaman X games, which will become available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and even the Nintendo Switch. With that in mind, there are many things you should expect from this thrilling compilation.

For starters, the compilation will be split into two parts. The first part features the first four Megaman X games including the SNES version of Megaman X3 and Megaman X4 plus the animated movie "Day Of The £ (Sigma)" which was first seen on Megaman: Maverick Hunter X for the Sony PSP, while the second part will include the other half of the Megaman X heritage but Switch owners may need to download that using a given code included in the said version. Both of these parts will have original artworks and The X Challenge mode among other interesting features.

With all that is to it and everything else is on your own, Megaman X Legacy Collection will be one legacy to be remembered upon hitting the gaming stores on July 2018 while waiting for Megaman 11 to come out throughout the rest of the year. Go figure, X hunters!!
