Many Filipino commuters have their own fair share of good and bad experiences using Grab on their mobile devices, especially when it comes to its drivers. Some have complained about the driver's behavior while travelling to their preferred destination, while there are those who have their reservations cancelled by the drivers regardless of their reason. More bad experiences push others to lose their trust to Grab and consider other options that cater to their commuting ways.

With new competition coming from our local shores on the horizon, Grab Philippines is reassuring its commitment to heed to the complaints of some of its users and provide them with a better ride-hailing experience better suited to their tastes. And this is how Grab Philippines' 100-day campaign is born with the purpose of improving customer service and driver behavior within the said period. Recently launched on May 8, 2018 and introduced to the public eye, Grab's 100-day journey to trust and improvement would surely benefit not only passengers but also drivers in many possible and interesting ways.

For starters, Grab drivers will be given incentives based on their performance including interaction with their passengers on the road and are urged to sign up for the service's exclusive rewards program and enjoy their own benefits offered by the said program. These efforts would be exerted to lessen uncertain driver cancellations. Furthermore, new and current Grab drivers are encouraged to learn more about road safety and customer interaction through new modules available on the Grab Driver Academy.

On the other hand, current and new Grab users can expect a cleaner and more intuitive interface and improved features once they download a new update for the official Grab mobile app for Android and iOS devices which is available on Google Play and iOS App Store for free. The new update will also urge commuters to express their concerns and complaints regarding their experience on the app's Help Center. Furthermore, Grab users will be mandated to follow the service's own Code of Conduct featuring a set of rules and regulations for any commuter to become a responsible member of the Transport Network Vehicle Services (TNVS) community.

With that in mind, it makes sense to think that drivers and passengers alike should become part of the 100-day journey if they want to invest their trust into Grab amidst competition which I think is one way to put it. Lest not forget, Grab will surely inform us of what has been transpired of the journey every 30 days until the end of the campaign. In any case, I wish Grab Philippines the very best of its endeavors throughout its journey. And for the Filipino commuters, I ask you this: "Is 100 days enough for you to satisfy your reassurance to trust Grab and other similar names coming?"
