The 2018 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner and Filipino football
fans are in for a huge treat as they can now enjoy every part of the action
featuring many of the finest football players from around the world on their
television sets and even on their computers and mobile devices.
Continuing its commitment of bringing Filipinos the best of sports
entertainment, ABS-CBN Integrated Sports is poised to make Filipino spoets buffs
experience the feel, charm, thrills and impact of the most-watched and highly-anticipated
sporting event in the world which will take place in Russia from June 14th to
July 15th as the exclusive Philippine broadcaster of the 2018 FIFA World Cup
which will be delivered on its television and online platforms to their
indulgement and satisfaction.

The sports arm of the premiere media and entertainment company will
broadcast all 64 matches throughout the competition headlined by 32 different
countries from across the globe who have fought their way to make it to where
they are today. Most of these matches will be aired live on LIGA (Skycable SD
channel 86 and HD channel 183, SkyDirect channel 14) while 30 of them will be
carried over on ABS-CBN S+A and S+A HD (Skycable HD channel 166, SkyDirect
channel 24) including the semifinals, finals and especially its opening day
which will kick off at 10:30 pm with a highly-entertaining opening ceremony.

Filipino football lovers who are anticipating the World Cup were able
to delve into the event, the venue, the teams and the players to watch out for
through a special weekly edition of S+A's flagship daily sports news program
The Score "Road To Russia" which was aired every Friday night on the
channel. In addition to the live coverage of the World Cup, a special daily
show dedicated to the event is slated to feature daily updates and highlights on
the games plus analysis and commentary from respectable analysts, renouned names
in the local football scene and celebrity football enthusiasts.
