It has only been a few weeks since PLDT and Smart Communications
launched its Free YouTube Everyday promo where mobile subscribers can enjoy
watching their favorite videos on the popular video sharing site without
worrying about data charges. At first, it becomes available to Smart, Sun and
Talk 'n Text prepaid subscribers upon subscription of selected promos. Now, mobile
postpaid users will be able to experience watching an hour's worth of YouTube
with no worries regardless.
Smart and Sun postpaid subscribers can enjoy watching YouTube videos up
to one hour or with a consumable data allowance of 1 GB per day considering
that they have an active postpaid plan. These include those who have preferred
any of Smart's GigaX plans - which comes with 10 GB of monthly data that can be
used for streaming on YouTube, iflix and more - without the need for any
registration as well as Sun Postpaid's Fixed Load Plans. Like prepaid
subscribers, mobile postpaid users can enjoy the offer until July 15, 2018.
What can postpaid subscribers watch on YouTube for just an hour during
their own time? Well, there are billions of videos for them to indulge. Heck,
they can watch their own favorites such as classic matches and weekly highlights
from Impact Wrestling, full episodes of popular GMA Network programs, local and
international music videos and movie trailers, trending performances from
popular variety shows and singing competitions, tutorials and so much more.
These are just something for them to chew on and it will be possible that the
offer could even reach other streaming services in the coming months.
