Game nights should not be hindered by one suffering from insomnia. |
The 2018 FIFA World Cup is underway, and many football fans from around
the world are tuning in to their television sets and Internet-powered devices
just to enjoy their favorite players showcase their own beautiful game in the
anticipated global stage which only comes every four years. In the Philippines,
there are those who are making the most of being part of the football fever
beyond their usual enjoyment through game nights and their freedom of
expression using social media.
However, there are those who are concerned about their own health and
well-being despite their own excitement of enjoying the beautiful game emanating
from Russia and it make probable sense considering that most of the games throughout
the duration of the World Cup are aired on late nights in local time. With that
in mind, it is possible that anyone's anticipation over the World Cup fever could
be hindered by lack of sleep or insomnia.
During our school life, we learned that a person needs to have six to
eight hours of sleep in order to maintain his or her own well-being. At first,
most people tend to get to sleep at night after a hard day's work. But the
advent of late night jobs, more particularly in the BPO and call center industry,
may put the traditional trend in deep trouble for a typical human unless he or
she has the right balance of work and rest embodied on their soul. It can go
the same for those who are dying to enjoy any of their own anticipated events
emanating in other countries even if it takes until the late hours to start.
If you finish watching your own game night at home and wanting to get
some rest from enjoyment, then go ahead but always remember to sleep for six to
eight hours. Unfortunately, those who want to watch late night football but
have work to do in the morning, then don't risk yourself and consider indulging
on what happened throughout the game the next day by watching daily highlights
on television or online. For those who have already slept for too long and forgot
all about the game when they wake up, it is best to check for an encore or enjoy
the highlights of the game for a quick look at what has transpired.
These are just some of my own tips for those who don't want to suffer
insomnia on the most-watched sporting event. Whatever you are excited for
regardless of unusual circumstances, it is always best to be on your best condition
before catching up on what you have missed. I always believe in the saying,
"Health is wealth," and I can bet that those who want a trubitastic
time of their lives would heed the meaning of that belief.
