Many
domestic and international tourists and even residents in the city of Puerto
Princesa and the island province of Palawan can enjoy fast internet browsing on
their computers and mobile devices while traversing the world-renouned Puerto
Princesa Underground River through the local government's forged deal with one
of the leading telecommunications companies in the Philippines, Globe Telecom.
The
underground river and the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park have
gained strong traction from locals and foreign visitors and were recognized by UNESCO
as heritage sites. The agreement between the city government of Puerto Princesa
and Globe would make these attractions the first heritage sites in the country
that can provide strong and fast WiFi internet connection to anyone who want to
discover and traverse around one of the new Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Tourists
can enjoy sharing their own photos and videos regarding their experience on
social media, keep updated on the latest news and features and communicate with
their friends, family and even co-workers via live chat on their devices at
Sabang Wharf and the main entrance area of the national park before and after
traversing the river. At least their own experience being shared around the
world will further promote the Puerto Princess Underground River that would
delight more local and foreign visitors.
