I assume that many beauty pageant fans in my hometown were strongly disappointed
about the recently concluded Miss Lipa Tourism 2018 grand coronation night due
to the fact that they do not agree with the venue considering that it is just
about two or three stones throw away from the city proper which was usually the
quintessential venue for such an occasion. Luckily, we have enjoyed the next
big thing and that would be the grand coronation day for Miss Silka Batangas
2018.
Held last June 30, 2018 at the Activity Area of Robinsons Place Lipa,
Miss Silka Batangas 2018 was a prestigious beauty pageant that aims to search
for the one that personifies the traits and qualities and represents the young
modern woman of today. From hundreds across different parts of Batangas who
have tried out, only ten were able to push through and showcase their own strut
and stuff throughout the duration of the competition all the way to the grand
coronation day.
In the end, it was Renee Coleen of Ibaan, Batangas who have earned the best
impression from the judges and even the spectators which is enough for her to
be crowned Miss Silka Batangas 2018 while Batangas City lass Khim Jane Buyser
was hailed as first runner-up in the competition. Kathleen Dinglasan of Taal
and Katherine Agno of Lipa City were second and third runners-up respectively.
The grand winner of Miss Silka Batangas 2018 will take home a hefty cash prize
and is set to sign a contract with a local talent management agency.
Those who are satisfied of watching the proud and prestigious event should
thank Cosmetique Asia, manufacturers of Silka Papaya Soap, and local events planning
and management firm Chalebrations for making the event possible. By the way,
the grand coronation day was hosted by international pageant and event host
Ryan Tercero and television personality and 2014 Miss Earth Philippines - Air
Diane Querrer with former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Johan Santos delivering a
soughtful and entertaining number for the audience and the participants.
With that in mind, we'll see you again in next year's Miss Silka
Batangas and the neighbor of good news and fresh stories will cover the event
with much diligence and perseverance.
