ABS-CBN's long-running and top-rating primetime series FPJ's Ang Probinsyano continues to delight and thrill many Filipino households every night with almost everything that suit their indulgement and cater to their pleasure. However, there have been sensible speculations that the series may end within the rest of 2018 and is slated to be replaced on its timeslot by any of the two anticipated dramas waiting to launch. Fortunately, that is not the case for the true number one television station in the Philippines.

Through its Corporate Communications Division, ABS-CBN released an official statement to the public on social media addressing one speculation published on a popular local entertainment blog regarding FPJ's Ang Probinsyano being replaced by Starla starring Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo by late this year. As a response, the network officially stated that the long-running weekday primetime action drama series will not be ending soon as it continues to capture the hearts of Filipino viewers in and out of the country with compelling stories and relevant issues happening in our local shores.

Judging from its continuing success on and off screen, it looks like that ABS-CBN's statement on Ang Probinsyano is literally strong and well-concise enough to make legitimate sense. After all, the series continue to enjoy high ratings and maintain its standing as the most-watched show in the country. In fact, some of its most recent episodes have garnered the highest national TV rating so far throughout 2018 based on data from Kantar Media. Its strong traction pushes Coco Martin and Dreamscape Entertainment to pitch more creative ideas to make the series more enjoyable.

Furthermore, the series continues to become an avenue for former local stars to restart their own careers in the showbiz industry. At the same time, it provides opportunity for new and fresh faces to gain experience that could become useful for their showbiz careers in the near future. With these in mind, I would literally say that the action-packed adventures of Ricardo Dalisay (played by Coco Martin) will not end as long as there are those who continue to follow them. So, hurray for FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, I guess!!
