FPJ's
Ang Probinsyano continues to entertain millions of Filipino viewers with its
sleuth of action and drama scenes, gripping storyline, and bevy of moral
lessons relevant to today's social issues. It's no wonder why it remains the
most watched show in the Philippines since its inception on August 2015. So,
imagine my surprise when I learned that the series is now available for online
and offline streaming on the global streaming service Netflix.
And
it is no big joke as it is officially confirmed by no less than ABS-CBN Advertising
and Promotions Head Eric John Salut on his Twitter account. FPJ's Ang
Probinsyano can now be binge-watched on Netflix under its international name Brothers,
but binge-watchers can only enjoy its first 50 episodes in case you want to
catch up on how it all started. Well, its first season is mostly based on the
1997 Philippine action film of the same name starring the late Fernando Poe Jr.
and it is regarded as the Syndicate Arc of the series.
Want
to continue reliving the early adventures of Ricardo Dalisay after Netflixing
and chilling on its first season? Then you should on iWant. Heck, you can even
start over from the beginning if you want to. Nevertheless, it makes me proud
to have one of the most popular Filipino dramas of today's generation become
part of Netflix' growing library of international content.
