The People's Queen has created a buzz in the world of pageantry and
made headlines in 2018 with some of its pageant hopefuls winning in various
international beauty competitions. Now, Filipino and Asian binge-watchers can
find out for themselves what makes this reality show an interesting trendsetter
to watch out for as The People's Queen is now available for online streaming

Hosted by media celebrities Cecilio Asuncion and Voltaire Tayag and
highly regarded as a cross between Queer Eye For The Straight Guy and America's
Next Top Model, The People's Queen features five top Filipino pageant hopefuls
in their quests for international titles and hopes to become what the show is
all about. The five hopefuls that have taken part in the show were as follows:

- Katrina Dimaranan, who has spent years focusing on the needs of her

the edges;
- Michelle Thorlund, an overly shy hopeful who wants to break out of
her shell if she wants to compete in the Miss Philippines pageant; and
- Katarina Rodriguez, Asia's Next Top Model runner-up and former Miss
Intercontinental Philippines.
By the time the show was aired in North America via ABS-CBN's The
Filipino Channel (TFC) and MYX TV in October 2018, Dimaranan won first runner
up in Miss Supranational 2018 in Poland while Katarina was crowned Miss World
Philippines. With such outcome on hand, iflix Philippines content and marketing
head Georgette Tengco stated that many binge-watching pageant fans will be
curious to know what makes a beauty queen. In any case, The People's Queen being
