Blacknut, the world's leading cloud gaming service for premium games on connected TVs, has announced expanded access to Blacknut's cloud gaming experience across TiVo's entertainment ecosystem. The collaboration reinforces Blacknut's position as the premier cloud gaming platform for the living room, making it easier than ever for viewers to transition from watching great entertainment to playing it instantly.
As consumers increasingly look to their televisions as the center of home entertainment, Blacknut and TiVo share a common vision: creating frictionless experiences that make discovering and enjoying premium content effortless. Through this partnership, TiVo OS users will be able to access Blacknut's catalog of more than 1,000 premium games directly from the comfort of their living rooms, alongside the movies, TV shows, sports and streaming services they already enjoy. TiVo’s content-first user experience makes it easy for consumers to find, watch and enjoy their favorite content, and now with the addition of Blacknut’s cloud gaming they can find, play and enjoy themselves too. "Television has always been the biggest screen in the home for storytelling. Today's audiences don't just want to watch incredible worlds — they want to step inside them. Our service on Powered by TiVo devices reflects that evolution, placing premium cloud gaming alongside the entertainment people already love. As cloud gaming continues to grow in the living room, we're ensuring players can instantly discover and enjoy console-quality experiences without additional hardware," said Blacknut CEO Olivier Avaro. From blockbuster adventures and cinematic action games to family favorites and indie gems, Blacknut's catalog complements the premium entertainment experience that TiVo delivers. Whether viewers have just finished watching an action film, a fantasy series or a beloved family movie, they can continue that experience by jumping into interactive worlds inspired by the same spirit of adventure. The announcement also underscores Blacknut's long-term strategy of building cloud gaming around connected televisions. Already available on over 100 million Smart TVs through partnerships with leading manufacturers including Samsung, LG, Philips, Hisense, Toshiba, JVC, CHiQ, Medion and more, Blacknut continues to invest in making the television the natural home for cloud gaming. Working with TiVo this agreement expands support to brands such as Sharp, Metz and Thomson who all use TiVo OS in their products.
"TiVo is dedicated to helping consumers spend less time searching and more time enjoying the entertainment they love. Adding Blacknut to our platform extends that promise beyond traditional video content, bringing premium cloud gaming into the experience and giving consumers even more ways to find, watch, play, and enjoy their favorite content all in one place,” said TiVo Senior Director of Content Partnerships and Business Development Stephane David. The service reflects the broader shift in consumer behavior, as connected TVs and streaming media devices continue to evolve beyond passive viewing into complete entertainment hubs. Blacknut’s subscription offers instant access to a curated library of premium games across every genre, playable with compatible controllers and requiring no downloads, installations or dedicated gaming hardware.
