It's Showtime, ABS-CBN's longest-running and consistently top-rating daily
noontime variety show, officially kicks off its tenth year anniversary celebration
with "Sampu Sample", a year-long festival of treats and surprises
that marks the show's ten years of making Filipinos happy and encourages
viewers not just to have fun but to help in taking care of the environment and
make a difference.
Among these surprises is the annually traditional "Magpasikat"
competition slated to be held on the fourth week of October featuring the
following groups headlined by It's Showtime's main hosts: Anne Curtis, Amy
Perez and Bidaman Top 6; Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Jhong Hilario, "Ate
Girl" Jackie, Ion and Stephen; Karylle, Ryan Bang and GT; Vhong Navarro,
Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla and Hashtags; and Vice Ganda and the top 3 queens of
Miss Q&A's two seasons. Each group's Magpasikat performance is required to
bring 120 ordinary people, celebrities not included, and give them a chance to
shine on national television.
The number one noontime show in the Philippines also looks back at its ten-year
history of good vibes and world-class Filipino entertainment by relaunching its
well-loved classic segments including the dance competition in its first few
seasons that has produced XB Gensan. It is also set to bring back other classic
segments that kicked off the careers of world-class champions such as El Gamma
Penumbra, Fourth Impact, Rachel Gabreza and the TNT Boys and artists like Onyok
Pineda, Chunsa Jung, Esang De Torres, Hashtags, GT and Jane De Leon.
In the coming months, viewers and fans can also expect the program
sharing more blessings, entertaining segments such as "Mr. Q&A"
and "KapareWho" that can churn out more fun, the fourth season of
"Tawag Ng Tanghalan" and live shows with the hosts in and out of the
country. Furthermore, on its tenth year anniversary, It's Showtime is pushing
for environmental protection and conservation as it challenges madlang people
to support its new advocacy with details to be revealed soon. Join the It's Showtime
