Waltermart
Community Malls is starting to bring its one-stop fun shopping experience for
the whole family to the people of the province of Batangas with the grand
opening of its 31st branch last November 26, 2019 at Barangay Calicanto,
Batangas City. Aside from providing a world-class shopping experience to
Batangueño families, Waltermart is also keen on building a long term partnership
with the city of Batangas with trust, mutual respect, communication and common
purpose.
Much
like the city government, Waltermart Mall Batangas aims to improve the lives of
the Filipino families that pray and eat together as well as having fun as an
advocate of great food, including Filipino foods, and with faith and hardwork
as its strength in making its purpose possible which is why its grand opening
is slated to be a fun and memorable affair for everyone who wants to shop,
dine, enjoy and have fun inside. The grand opening kicked off with a Holy Mass officiated
by Msgr. Rafael Oriondo followed by the blessing of the stalls.

Gracing
the wonderful occasion are Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas, Batangas City
Mayor Beverly Rose Dimacuha, Dr. Vivencio Mendoza representing Batangas City Vice
Mayor Dr. Jun Berberabe, Waltermart Community Malls managing director Wilson Lim
Jr. and general manager for mall operations Jeck Buning, several city
councilors and the Barangay Council of Calicanto headed by its chairperson
Wilma Martinez. For Mayor Dimacuha, Waltermart made the right choice in
investing in what is now the fastest-growing city in the province and CALABARZON
and assures that the city's business climate will continue to improve even
further and the city government remains business-friendly.
Anyway,
Waltermart Mall Batangas City sports its anchor stores Waltermart Supermarket,
W Department Store, and Abensons as well as Mr. DIY, ACE Hardware, Japan Home
Center, Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, and other stores including a food
court and an arcade amusement center among others. During the grand opening, W
Department Store and Waltermart Supermarket have both offered special discounts
and "Buy One, Take One" deals to their customers. The supermarket
included a "market fresh" concept where locally produced products
from women's groups and vegetable growers associations in the city can be
availed.
