I began delivering good news and fresh stories every week more than three years ago in an internet cafe standing within the corners of the Candido B. Lopez Memorial Public Market in downtown Lipa City. The day after Christmas last year, my family moved into our new home in Lynville Residences Lipa which is literally far from my original workplace unless you take a tricycle ride to the market and I'm glad we did now that Metro Manila, Luzon and several parts of Visayas and Mindanao are under enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic.
Even before the pandemic that has reached the Philippines and the Taal Volcano eruption that rocked the province of Batangas, I am always thinking of essential ways to keep up with my commitment of delivering the latest and freshest stories on the Philippine pop culture, sports and technology scene as well as within what's happening in Lipa City and the province of Batangas from the comforts of my new home. Since everyone is encouraged and mandated to stay at home for their safety and well-being from the COVID-19 pandemic, I am now equipped myself with the confidence to move forward in the middle of crisis, my trusted old smartphone that is still kicking and a strong internet connection within all four corners of my new home. With these on hand, I encourage everyone who has been reading and following me to keep up with my continuing mission while on quarantine.
I am regarded as a non-profitable blogger in all honesty but everything that I have done and shared through the years has been backed by some of the most trusted brands and online influencers in the Philippines such as Smart Communications, Paymaya, Digital Filipina, ESPN5's Lloyd Dennis Manaloto, and Game One PH. I am hoping that they will continue to patronize my forthcoming sleuth of freshly-brewed stories published on my online blog every Wednesday. In the case of going beyond Twitter, I think that I can begin expanding my online and social media influence and opening the doors of my new social media accounts by the end of the Lenten season in the Philippines or of the enhanced community quarantine period. For the meantime, online readers will be notified of my upcoming posts on my blog through subscription via their e-mail address and are free to send your comments and suggestions on any of the stories that I've wrote.
With these in mind, I guess this is how Ronie The Trubist, the neighbor of good news and fresh stories, keeps up and continues its commitment and mission for the enjoyment of readers and social media followers in the online world. On the same time, my own ways to keep up in the midst of the pandemic are without question how you can continue to keep up with me as a good neighbor who has nothing but good and non-fake news to share. Reading fresh stories online is one of the most effective ways for people staying at home to keep calm and ready as well as practice the concept of social distancing while on quarantine. In any case, we pray that we can surpass the present and future ordeals that we are facing with our heads and faith held high.
