On this edition of On The Market, it's time to refrain ourselves from looking at the hottest smartphones available in the Philippines and turn our own attention to something else in mind and that would be the freshest and finest games that come out recently for consoles, PCs and smartphones. I have no need to review what is available in the local market since you have to be the one to do it. Anyway, featured on this edition of On The Market are Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night on mobile, Final Fantasy III on Steam, and Two-Point Hospital on consoles. Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night (Android, iOS)
In conjunction with the anticipated release of Castlevania Season 3 on Netflix, Konami brought one of the most iconic Castlevania games of all time to mobile devices. Ported straight from its original PlayStation version, Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night lets you play as the vampire hunter Alucard adventuring inside Dracula's castle and vanquishing his father. The game was highly praised and critically acclaimed leading to the introduction of the Metroidvania style gameplay which has been a staple in many games of its kind. The Android and iOS port features game controller compatibility, several achievements to unlock and support for six different languages including Japanese, English and French among others.

In case you don't know your Final Fantasy history, Final Fantasy III was originally released in Japan by then Squaresoft back in 1990 for the Family Computer. It never brought out to the West until its Nintendo DS release in 2006. Soon after, the game becomes available for Android and iOS mobile devices on Google Play and Apple App Store. The game revolves around four young adventurers on a journey to find the crystals and save the land from total darkness and destruction.
Two-Point Hospital (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

An all-out new form of the 1997 management simulation game Theme Hospital which was conceived by some of its developers, you play as a hospital administrator who runs your own hospital and deal with everyday accidents, sets of illnesses that aren't serious sounding and even monsters thrown into the mix. Fairly commended on its PC launch in 2018, the console versions are refactored to accommodate single, gamepad-only controls and contains the Bigfoot and Pebberley Island expansion DLC with Close Encounters to become available at a later date. Two-Point Hospital for the PS4, Xbox One and Switch is available online and offline nationwide at Game One PH and Datablitz.
