On The Radar: realme, OPPO Extend Warranty For Filipino Customers

In light of the enhanced community quarantine implemented over Luzon and in efforts to support not only their customers but also the nation's fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, two of the top smartphone brands in the Philippines - realme and OPPO - are offering their own nationwide warranty extension program for all of their devices with ensuring the health and safety of their employees and upholding the best interests of their customers as their top priority in order to serve better in these tough times.



With the top priority in mind, realme service centers in Luzon are temporarily non-operational until further notice while those in Visayas and Mindanao are still open while strictly following the protocols of their respective local government units. realme devices with warranty slated to be expired within the duration of the ECQ are given seven days extension after the quarantine, while customers whose gadgets have a replacement period expiring within the ECQ period can have their devices replaced three days after the lifting of the month-long quarantine.

OPPO's nationwide warranty extension program for its customers and dealers affected by the imposed ECQ covers provisions on repair services and device and accessories replacement policies. Devices with warranty expiry dated March 9, 2020 until the end of the quarantine period will be granted a two-month extension period which will take effect once the ECQ is lifted while devices purchased between March 1st and 20th will be granted an extended replacement term of seven days effective after the ECQ. However, the customer shall provide required documents and proofs for the claims of factory defects for the consideration of the extension. On the other hand, OPPO has temporarily ceased operations of its service centers and concept stores in the affected areas across the country since the implementation of the ECQ period.

ABS-CBN's new online shows, "PILIkula" and "MNL48 Presents", are giving fans the power to choose the lead stars they want to see and the story they enjoy right at their fingertips.

"PILIkula" allows fans to select the scenes they want to follow each past episode by clapper stickers on the KUMU app (kumu.ph/starhunt) for a week where the scene with the most stickers will be uploaded the next day and are eventually strewn together to form a complete short film which will be uploaded and streamed on both KUMU and Star Hunt's official YouTube channel every Friday. On the other hand, "MNL48 Presents" lets fans of the all-female Filipino pop idol group to vote for their idol or "oshi" who will star in each episode that is slated to be streamed on the official Facebook and YouTube accounts of MNL48.

For their first offerings, "PILIkula: Ghosts Of The Past" gave fans the chance to watch Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza in a story about a student assistant Amy (Karina) who is forced to face her past as she accidentally shares a ride with her ex-boyfriend Dani (Aljon) whom she ghosted three months ago while "MNL48 Presents: 2020 Vision" was headlined by MNL48 members Ecka Sibug and Sela Guia. MNL48 members should look forward to "MNL48 Presents: i-Dol" which is about a superfan who creates an imaginary perfect idol but encounters problems along the way.
