Make A Bigger Difference With PLDT Smart Foundation's Text-To-Donate Drive

As part of its continuing efforts to help and serve millions of frontliners across the country continuing their duties amidst the ongoing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF) and Smart Communications launched a Text-To-Donate drive for the Filipino COVID-19 frontliners. The initiative allows Smart, Sun and TNT subscribers to contribute their prepaid load or charge their postpaid accounts for donations to health workers, frontliners and communities gravely affected by the pandemic.

Smart, TNT and Sun subscribers who are interested in taking part in this unique donation drive can text DONATE <amount> on their mobile devices and send it to 3456. They can donate any amount of their own choosing whether it is Php10, Php25, Php50, Php100 or Php500 until July 16, 2020. Smart will then donate the proceeds on behalf of its millions of subscribers to the PLDT-Smart Foundation which has been mobilizing relief and recovery efforts to support health workers, frontliners and hospitals and to help the communities that are affected by the global pandemic.

Aside from the Text-To-Donate drive, Smart Communications has been making essential strides to offer help, support and assistance to affected families and communities across the country since the start of the enhanced community quarantine imposed over Metro Manila and Luzon which has expanded to other "high-risk" areas in Visayas and Mindanao and extended until May 15, 2020. Among these strides is the Smart Music Live Online Sessions where it teamed up with the country's biggest artists and musicians via a series of live online shows. While being serenaded with live music, subscribers are encouraged to donate their MVP Rewards Stars to PSF for the COVID-19 frontliners. They can also donate to PSF via Paymaya's #OneAgainstCOVID19 campaign.
