The SEA Invitational will let the special online celebrity players show off their skills in Riot Games' answer to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) as they fight for the lion's share of the US$10,000 prize pool plus various prizes from SecretLab, Gigabyte and Intel. The teams participating in the SEA Invitational will also duke it out for a good cause as Riot Games Southeast Asia is donating US$10,000 to GlobalGiving's Coronavirus Relief Fund as part of Valorant's launch in conjunction to the regional invitational tourney. The participants of the Valorant SEA Invitational include the following:
* Luthfi Halimawan and Watchout Gaming from Indonesia
* Soloz and MasterRamen from Malaysia
* GlocoGaming and Ashley Gosiengfiao from the Philippines
* Sombrero and Afiz from Singapore
* Xargon and Hehe from Taiwan
* Xcrosz and Badness Gamer from Thailand
On the other hand, the Valorant Pacific Open is slated to kick off with the national qualifiers that will be held in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand starting July 3, 2020. The winners of each national qualifier will then go on to the Pacific Open's main stage beginning mid-August with a US$20,000 prize pool at stake.
