Paying taxes, remitting pension dues and applying for business registration are just some of the day-to-day transactions with the government that can now be done safely and conveniently with Paymaya as it enables more Philippine government agencies with cashless payment solutions.
The country's premiere digital payments solution provider has officially added the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the City of Taguig, the Intellectual Property of the Philippines (IPO) and the Optical Media Board (OMB) to its growing roster of partner government agencies and local government units accepting cashless payments for various transactions which include the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security System (SSS), PAG-IBIG Fund, Bureau of Customs (BOC), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC), and the National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC) as well as the cities of Valenzuela, ParaƱaque and Ormoc among many others.

Through Paymaya's end-to-end digital payment platform, various government agencies and local government units can now offer more convenient payment options to Filipinos, allowing for continuous delivery of critical services to the public and heightened efficiency and transparency of their operations. Through digital payment methods, Filipinos are able to continue performing their civic duties and do government transactions safely because it reduces physical cash handling and interface with other people in physical locations which can contribute to the spread of the COVID-19 virus across different parts of the country. On the national government's side, offering cashless payments in physical and virtual touchpoints allow for more efficient operations and greater transparency in transactions aside from being able to reach more constituents in and out of the country.

To help encourage more Filipinos to use cashless means of paying their government taxes and dues, Paymaya is offering a cashback on transaction fees when they use their Paymaya mobile number to pay in select online and mobile government channels until September 30, 2020. Users can get a cashback voucher when they pay using their Paymaya-registered mobile number at the websites of DFA, PRC, NHMFC, the Construction Industry Association of the Philippines (CIAP), Taxumo, JUANTAX as well as the SSS mobile app. All they have to do is to choose Paymaya as their payment option and enter their registered mobile number to be able to pay their fees in their respective government agencies. After the transaction, users will receive the cashback voucher through the Paymaya mobile app which is similar to the transaction fee collected by the agency.

It's easy for anyone to get Paymaya for safe, convenient and rewarding means of paying government taxes, dues and fees even within the safe comforts of home due to the threat of the pandemic.
