Smart Communications Inc. is now making its new Smart Bro LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) Pocket WiFi available to its prepaid mobile broadband subscribers and they can now own their device for only Php1,995. Initially available to postpaid subscribers, the Smart Bro LTE-A Pocket WiFi is aptly positioned as a new device that can power one's digital life as it enables users to enjoy speeds of up to twice as fast as those of an old Smart Bro Pocket WiFi device for their usual on-the-go online activities.
The Smart Bro LTE-A Pocket WiFi delivers significantly fast mobile internet speeds through the use of carrier aggregation, a mobile telecommunications technique that aims to help meet the target data rates for data-intensive mobile apps and services and is done by combining more than one component carrier within and across bands much like combining two or more highways in order to handle more traffic and use available capacity more efficiently. Thus, the Smart Bro LTE-A Pocket WiFi is able to deliver more data rates per user, reduced latency and increased capacity for subscribers delivering significantly faster mobile connectivity when connecting at home, at the office and travelling on the road for those who are attending online classes, expanding their small businesses online and enjoying faster, more constant access to productivity, entertainment and social media apps on the go.

Subscribers can make the most of their Smart Bro LTE-A Pocket WiFi with GIGA Pro, a bigger and better data pack which offers a generous combination of 3 GB per day of any GIGA offer - whether it's Video, Study, Work, Games or Stories - plus open access data allocation to cover all other online activities on the go. Anyway, the Smart Bro LTE-A Pocket WiFi is available for prepaid subscribers at Smart Stores nationwide, the Smart Online Store, authorized dealers/resellers and the Smart Flagship Store on the online shopping platform Lazada. It is also available on postpaid plans starting at Php699 a month for a 12-month contract. These plans come with monthly open access data allocation ranging from 6 to 15 GB to cover all online activities and a data rollover feature where unused data from the previous month shall be carried over to the next month.
