Presented in partnership with Singapore's top telecoms brand Singtel through PVP eSports 2020 community tournaments, Business and Marketing Head Cindy Tan of Singtel's International Group shared that the SGF is a way to create a holistic and fun environment beyond tournament gameplays. She added, "it's about all things gaming that we enjoy, and not stopping at just competition when it comes to us presenting eSports in an engaging way."
One of the most anticipated events and highlights of the SGF is the PVP eSports 2020 Community Championships where four winning teams from the Ulti Cup, University Alliance Cup and National Campus Open will represent the Philippines to compete against representatives from other Southeast Asian countries in Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) and Valorant with a total cash prize of US$100,000 at stake as well as the honor of representing the country in the international stage. Local qualifiers for the Collegiate Cup will be presented by AcadArena while Globe Virtual Hangouts will be presenting the Ulti Cup which is slated to start within the month of November.
