Mineski Philippines, the premiere professional gaming organization in the country, seeks to build and sustain the momentum of the growing local eSports industry through a series of tournaments and activities featuring some of the biggest titles in the pro gaming scene today under its exclusive partnership with Riot Games Southeast Asia, reuniting with its long-time partner Globe Telecom and enlisting OPPO as its official mobile phone company for gaming.
Mineski holds the official licenses of local eSports tournaments featuring two of Riot's biggest and most popular titles VALORANT and League of Legends: Wild Rift. Tournaments for both these games are slated to be held throughout the year featuring a format that will allow the best professional gaming athletes in the country to compete against the best in Southeast Asia and, possibly, the world. These will be done through the Philippine Pro Gaming League co-presented by Globe. On the other hand, OPPO pledges its support to Mineski and the local eSports scene by providing its latest gaming-centric devices for participating players.

Moreover, for the first time, Mineski has adopted and implemented a points system for the LoL Wild Rift competitive circuit in the country. Dubbed "The Wild Rift Points System By Globe", this innovation will govern the total cash prize the best performing teams in the national tournament will receive. The total prize pools amounts to over Php10 million and these points will determine how a team can further advance towards the Philippine Playoffs. According to Mineski general manager Mark Navarro in an interview with SPIN.ph, the LoL Wild Rift local competitive circuit for 2021 will be divided into Summer and Fall Split seasons with both amateur and professional squads have an equally fair shot to compete through a series of open qualifiers split into four regions: Northern Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Under the Wild Rift Points System, teams are awarded based on the number of points accumulated in the group stages and playoffs of each season with one point equivalent to one Philippine peso. By the end of the year, the top two teams from the Summer (April-June) and Fall (July-September) Split seasons will go on to compete against one another in the regional Super Cup finals. Spectators and gaming enthusiasts should also look forward to the Philippine leg of the pre-season LoL Southeast Asian Icon Series on March 20-21, 2021 featuring a series of exciting matches that pits eight professional gaming squads across the region and different parts of the globe including Liyab and Team Secret among others.
