Live events may have been on an indefinite halt due to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that doesn't stop international all-female Korean pop group BLACKPINK from entertaining its fans around the world as it staged a virtual live streaming concert entitled THE SHOW where BLINKs were able to get a reinvented concert experience featuring Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose. The concert is part of Globe Telecom and BLACKPINK's partnership under the former's Reinvent Your World campaign which empowers customers and consumers to transform themselves in the digital world and open up to new and exciting possibilities.
Throughout the virtual concert, BLACKPINK gave a glimpse of what their world tour could have been if the pandemic was out of the picture as they perform some of their biggest and well-loved hits such as Kill This Love, Whistle, Boombayah, How You Like That, Lovesick Girls, Ddu-Du Ddu-Du and more and flavor them with excellent choreography, stunning and colorful costumes and a full on-live ensemble where every BLINK watching the concert at home felt like being in the same venue in front of his or her idols. Filipino netizens have enjoyed indulging on the live stream concert with some holding watch parties with other BLINKs featuring BLACKPINK-themed snacks and merchandise while others wore their merch and took out their lightsticks to really get the feel of the concert experience.

MLD Entertainment, the South Korean entertainment and talent agency that introduced and brought MOMOLAND to the world, is giving K-pop fans around the world a new set of idols to "stan" with the formal launch and introduction of its new mega all-male group T1419. Officially debuted in January 2021, the group is composed of five Korean members - its leader Noa, Sian, Kevin, Gunwoo, On - and four Japanese - Zero, Kairi, Leo, Kio.
T1419 has immediately made a statement through the release of a music video for the group's debut single "ASURABALBALTA" which combines hiphop, electronic music and pop to highlight the group's collective chant to make their dreams come true. In just three weeks following its launch, the fiery music video "ASURABALBALTA" has already garnered more than 18 million views online. The single is part of the group's debut single album entitled "Before Sunrise Part I" which also comprises of the title track's instrumental version and another track titled "Butt Out". Aside from the album, the Japanese version of "ASURABALBALTA" is already available on online music streaming platforms.
New fans can get to know the group better by following their adventures, games and behind-the-scenes activities in their group vlogs in which two of them are already released. The third and fourth episodes, meanwhile, are slated to arrive on the official YouTube channels of T1419 and MLD Entertainment. They can also watch the music video and even dance practice videos of T1419's pre-debut track "Dracula" on the said YouTube channels as well as other dance practice and performance videos. Through their music, the boys of T1419 intend to showcase various experiences and problems that today's youth are going through. According to MLD, the "T" in the group's name stands for "teenager" and the "1419" comes from the fact that the boys were between 14 and 19 years old when they first met and have eventually formed as a group. They can also know more about the group and its preparations for its debut in the two-part documentary "Bloom Your Hopes" which can be viewed on T1419's official YouTube channel in six different languages including English which is narrated by MOMOLAND's Nancy.
